Stick with what they do best steak. Filet minion was excellent. Arugula salad excellent. Mashed potatoes ok. Desert over done. They used to do a traditional bread pudding that was excellent with cognac. New upside down pineapple bread pudding dry and over done. Pretty but pretty tasteless. Chocolate coffee cake moist and better but focusing on a traditional coffee cake done to perfection would be better

The food and service was exceptional! We ordered the ribeye and crab cakes. Jodi was a very friendly and hospitable server - award winning personality and smile!

Unfortunately, HH Prime is woefully understaffed and not well managed. We had a group of 13 sit for dinner on Friday of Memorial Day weekend at 6:30. There were about 10 additional patrons in the restaurant. The staff was completely overwhelmed.

We had only one waitress/server for the table, and she could not have been nicer. Our dinners were served almost an hour after we had finished our appetizers. Half of our party was served, and the other half didn’t get their dinners for another 10 minutes. My steak was overcooked, and my daughter’s was completely rare, and we had both ordered “medium” for the preparation. HH Prime charges New York steak house prices, but they are providing neither the service nor the product to merit the cost.

Mmm!! I meant to take a picture of the beautiful wedge salad. It was gorgeous and delicious! The staff was extremely sweet to my seven year old sister which was impressive to me for such a nice restaraunt. I had the land and sea which is a 7 Oz filet mignon with some Shrimp and mashed potatoes and asparagus. I ordered my steak medium rare. It was a little less red than I am used too but it cut like butter. Everything tasted wonderful. My grandmother said that the crab cakes were better than hers. If you had ever met her, you'd know that that is a HUGE deal! She makes amazing crab cakes but these are phenomenal. If you like mushrooms, the mushroom addition is a huge helping of wonderful mushrooms. The honey creme Brule was pretty great too! Not as crispy of a top coat of candied sugar that I love, but it had a wonderful flavor. My family is full of great cooks from Louisiana. It's hard to truly please us. This restaraunt amazed us!!

We went to HH Prime twice while staying at the resort: once for the $21/person breakfast buffet and once for dinner.

Good: Dinner was excellent. We had the wedge salad, filet mignon, and pecan-crusted chicken. All three were delicious. I also appreciated that they welcomed toddlers and had crayons and a children's menu.

Grumbles: service was missing. Both times we waited at the hostess stand for several minutes before anyone appeared to seat us. At breakfast, we had good service, but at dinner our waiter(s) were missing and it took several minutes to get both our drink orders and food orders, and since we had a toddler with us this was frustrating. The food at breakfast was not worth the cost. The pastries were low quality -- they looked delicious, but were flavorless and a bit stale. The hot bar was decent. And we disliked that our waiter stressed to us that we were to only go through the buffet ONCE, despite paying $21 per person (I would think this would entitle you to go as many times as you like).

Such a disappointment after hearing from several people how good it was. Understandable if just one of our meals wasn't up to what we expected but all three left a lot to be desired. My burger was dry, tasteless and just not what an $18 burger should be. The other guys had steaks that were definitely substandard for the prices they charge. As a former restaurant guy, I get it, you have bad nights and sometimes the food just doesn't come out well. But it's how they recover is the trick. No offer to discount or take the food off of the check (we didn't finish out meals) It took one of the guys complaining to the front desk to get any action at all. Hopefully this was just a bad night or a one time thing.

Had the Filet and Shrimp and was good as you could ever ask for. The She crab soup was unbelievable good; as well the lumps of crab meat in it where very tasty. I hesitate on "Hotel restaurants" but, this restaurant is as good or better than any on the island. Very good kids menu too for the little one. My wife loved her crab cakes as you could tell they didnt skip any steps using pre made ingredients.

Great cocktails. Impressive wine selection. Best calamari I have ever eaten. GREAT steak. Extremely kid friendly for a restaurant of this caliber. They even have a children's menu available. I would DEFINITELY dine here again!
