My sausage was dry and crumbly. Sharable steak was good. Service was ok but over bearing.

Needs to be on the Worlds best Restaurants List!
We were looking for a delicious dinner and the recommended one had a private party.
Spontaneously we decided to enter The Macintosh.
After consultation of the very good menu with very friendly explanations from the service guy, We ordered the Porterhouse Steak with a House Salad and a bottle of Italian Chianti.
Just one word: Wow! Awesome what for a 30oz Steak in which quality. Medium red served as ordered with salads and creamy mushed potatoes.
It was a very good evening with outstanding service and quality. I would highly recommend an evening there.
    Thank you team Macintosh!

Oh the richness. Brunch review: The Mac Attack is a must: pork belly and poached egg with sauce on bone marrow bread pudding. When we forked up all we could, we asked for bread to sop up the sauce (grilled sour dough? Yes please). Service is helpful, friendly, and attentive. Decor is inviting, and there’s Ray Charles on the radio. The drink menu is extensive, and most tables around have some sort of mimosa, etc. Recommended not to come within 50 feet if on a diet, but you’ll be so happy you came.

I don't get the rave reviews of this place at all. I came in for a late Sunday brunch and sat at the bar. The bartender, Lauren, spent the whole hour barbacking and cleaning. She had zero personality and barely acknowledged patrons at the bar. Eggs took 25 minutes. Atmosphere was completely bland and borderline bizarre. Seemed like most of the staff was busy doing other things, maybe getting ready for dinner. Also, when you charge 30 dollars for breakfast you should probably serve water to guests ordering food without them having to hunt you down or feel like they are a burden. I'd suggest talking to your staff about what true hospitality looks like. This place had about as much charm as an overflowing toilet. Actual food was great, but was ruined by the terrible bar ambience. Nothing ruins great food faster than a bad FOH. One star.

My favorite stop in Charleston. As a vegetarian with food allergies, heading out for a group meal can be stressful. The waitstaff was amazing and the chef prepared one of the best vegetarian meals I've ever had. Others in our party raved about the pork as well

Friend staff and the food is some of the best I've ever had the wrekfish was Great. Only complaint would be the price, it was a little high for the food portions but would still go back for the flavor of the meal.

First time eating at the Macintosh but it exceeded our expectations. Tess was an awesome server and was very accommodating and helpful with ordering gluten-free dishes. The food itself was amazing and the flavors were dynamic. Probably the best scallops I have ever had, and the spicy watermelon sauce was very intriguing. Everyone in the party enjoyed their main dishes as well (grilled swordfish and bavette). Charleston has some amazing restaurants but it's tough to beat the combination of the atmosphere and delicious food at the Mac has to offer. Highly recommended.

We recently had a Mother's Day meal at Macintosh, and our experience was top-notch in every way. The staff was engaging, accommodating, and creative with various food allergies some of our party have. Each main course, side and dessert was fantastic. Not just good, amazing. Their menu is sophisticated and daring. Will return soon!

We love this place! Amazing brunch, cool atmosphere, great place for any occasion. We don't usually venture too far with our drinks but we tried their "witch doctor" and it was amazing. Very unique and it has a flower you nibble that numbs your mouth! Amazing!

Best meal I have had in a restaurant in years! The menu is fresh and innovative and the food is amazing. The vegetarian option was the best I have ever had as well as the truffle fries. The gnocchi appetizer was spectacular. Great service and ambiance as well. Highly recommend!
