I stayed at The Lotus Suites for a wedding that I was a part of. The ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful and the staff was very attentive. The food at the reception was delicious. At the hotel some of the staff was ill informed about the wedding. When guests asked where to go they were told that there was nobody there by the bride's name. We asked for some extra blankets for the room and one of the blankets was disgusting. The continental breakfast was good. It looked like every room had at least a wet bar and mini which was convenient.

I stayed at this location because it is attached to the venue we were married at. I stayed in the presidential suite and it was very clean, had a nice kitchen, full sized fridge, hot tub, large shower, etc. Beds and pillows were very comfy. The only negative experience I really had was having the hotel send my photographer away, saying there was no one staying there under my or my husband's last name. My photographer drove to the location she was told to go to, only to come back and call me to find out what room I was in. I heard the desk staff in the background sound surprised that I was indeed a guest at their hotel. Alpana, the owner, is very nice and easy to communicate with. All staff I have encountered have been extremely friendly as well. They serve hot breakfast in the morning which was better than the usual dry cereal continental breakfast. They have some pet friendly rooms too which is super convenient.

I would have given a five star if the hotel had a restaurant, or if there was a restaurant within walking distance. The hotel is dated, but in good condition. The rooms and grounds are clean, the staff very friendly and the rooms spacious. The pool is fairly small, but does not seem to be utilized that much. We will be staying on our next visit, even though there is not much around as far as amenities.

Overall, I would say I definitely enjoyed my night at Lotus. My wife and I stayed there for our wedding night, and the suite they gave us was very well-worn and had all the amenities you could think of. The staff was also very helpful and responsive. My only knock would be that the air conditioning units in the bedroom and lounge areas weren't working quite as well as we would have liked. As a result, the room was very warm for a large portion of the night which made it somewhat difficult to get some decent sleep. Overall, though, I enjoyed the experience. It was my wedding night, after all, and sleep wasn't my main concern.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean but oddly laid out. They gave us a two bed room when we asked for 1, and they were barely any outlets usable near the king sized bed. The room was very nice though. Enjoyed my stay.

I stay at the lotus suites frequently, usually for an extended stay 14+ days. The rooms are GREAT, very spacious, always ALWAYS fresh an clean room upon check in. I keep coming back because the staff here truly cares about the people that stay here. They have always gone above an beyond to accommodate me & my family. Weather it's needing a ride somewhere near by or just a great recommendation for activities around town. You can really see how the staff here is not just "at work" they truly LIKE being there!!! I only stay here when I'm in Waukegan best hotel at this price point you will find, HANDS DOWN.

My wife and I have stayed here several times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean. It is a quiet area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are well kept and spacious. Staff very helpful. My only problem was getting the privacy curtains to stay together. Used the pen from the table to solve that problem.

The lobby is very cozy. Rooms are plenty big and beds comfy. The swimming pool and hot tub were spacious. Staff did well cleaning. Front desk was polite and knowledgeable about the area. Would recommend

I did not know this place exist. Its very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Staff was very nice. The area is beautiful and relaxing.
