For what it is and what it costs, it's exactly what one would expect. It's an inexpensive motel. It's not fancy. The towels could be used to sand wood. But, it's a place to lay your head if you don't have much bread.

Came for graduation and wanted to be close. This was easy to find and one mile from the base! The room was very clean and I had what I needed. This is an older motel so don't expect the moon, the bed was comfy, the a/c worked well and the front desk person was VERY nice! I was traveling by myself and I don't need much!! For the $, I would stay again! My ex stayed at another hotel and didn't get good sleep from all the noise in the hallway. This was very quiet and I had a great night's sleep!!

Upon check-in we were welcomed by the owners who are a pleasantly accommodating, and helpful, host & hostess at their Great Lakes Motel. We enjoyed our three-night stay in a comfortable, clean, king, room. The location is Great! Close to Navy Station, Flanagan's restaurant we liked just next door, a Speedway station next door to the south, for a.m. newspaper, coffee, donuts, etc., and the cost was affordable for us too!
