Good beer and the salsa was good, but don't bother with the guacamole (ours looked a day old). We stopped here after a hike for a little refreshment. There was a guy playing live music who was really very good, but they serve the beer in plastic cups (instead of chilled mugs) and the place was "old and tired" and, well, dark! Lots of bras hanging around the stage signaled that this is a party place more than anything. Probably the kind of local dive where lots of shots are bought and things get a little crazy. I probably would have liked this place in my college days but next time I think we'll drive a little further for our post-hike beer!

Had the nachos and meatza pizza. Pizza is covered in grease & nachos are worse than your basic drive thru nachos. Told them they were out of coke syrup, & continued to serve us coke with no syrup. Lemonade is also tasteless. Constant issues at the bar and throughout the place with card reader being down, improper amount of change being returned

However, we did enjoy the cool atmosphere, low music ( no live band at the time ), and our server, even as it was her first day, was wonderful.

A wonderful place with decades of history behind it. Whether you're stopping in the middle of the day for lunch after a hike or grabbing beers after catching a show at Red Rocks. You owe it to yourself to stop here. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere all around.

Just stopped in for lunch on a motorcycle ride beautiful scenery both up and down the mountains
The little bear has been in Evergreen as long as I can remember and I'm just amazed on the amount talented musicians that have played their over the years.
    And such a small venue.
So if you're ever in Evergreen you should stop by to say you've been in the famous Little Bear

My husband and I visited yesterday. I honestly haven't been here since I was a kid. It was the middle of the day and was a little different than I had remembered it from childhood. ( It seemed a lot brighter back in the day) We had the foothills burger and Jenn served us. Staff was nice and burger was more tasty than I imagined. It's probably not the cleanest place but overal we had a great experience.

Always good food and friendly service. They have live music most nights and some of the best burgers you've ever laid teeth to.

Very cool place. Built in 1800's. Best burger I've ever had in my life. We will be back.

So, I suspect this place is so well known and they get enough walk-in business that they don't care about their food quality and service. Like a lot of reviews I've seen, I sat at the bar trying to get the bartender's attention today for 20 minutes before she even made eye contact or acknowledged me. I'm sorry, but no well-established place is so cool that they should completely give up on the concept of customer service. Lame! Food was also not good. Their green chile is not green chile.

Came in at noon on a Thursday, we were the only ones there, and the food was terrible. The burgers were overdone, had no seasoning to speak of, and they came with overdone onion rings that just tasted like burnt breading. The only good that was palatable was the Fish and Chips. I would stay away and find a better restaurant in Evergreen, or at least come later at night when they hopefully have a better cook.

Incredibly fun spot to see live music. Carve your name in the wall, table, or post and leave your mark. A blend of locals, hipsters, and everything in between. We always go to see The Nadas when they are in town.

Live music. Good atmosphere. A little loud. My big knock on this place is the service. Felt bad, but they really need more waiting staff and bartenders. Open tables were not bussed and we had to stand for 10 minutes till we finally decided to bus our own table. Did not take our food order for twenty minutes and the table next to us said they had been waiting for their food for 40 minutes. There was a pile of food at the window waiting to be served, but the waitresses just kept walking right by it. The food sounded good, but we left with empty stomachs. Very disappointing.

One of my favorite bars in the foothills. Always great for live music. Great history. Great staff. Good food. Took my gf on a date there for her first time and she LOVED it. Old school dive bar.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Visited from Alabama, had the most fun I have had in months. If you want a great place to hear great music and dance then this is your place! Most of the crowds was early forty's, but us twenty somethings fit right in.

My wife has been talking about this place for a couple of years from something she had read. So, on our trip through Colorado I took her for a late lunch and beers.

The place has character. Bras, etc. hanging on the stage, tables and bar was about like any you would see in a joint.

Live music was good, not too loud for an afternoon crowd.

The food was good and tasty, we had just your basic burgers, fries and beer Service was quick once we entered, but, was slow as time went by.

    Parking for motorcycles was convenient.
