My husband and I decided to visit Vail and stopped at this restaurant for dinner. Probably one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve eaten at. I had the Penne e Vodka and it was incredible! We were both very pleased with the service as well.
Absolutely fantastic
We walked in the day after Thanksgiving at 7pm and while the place was very busy, they made every effort to seat us. We decided to sit at the bar instead. The bar has about 6 seats where one can comfortably eat.
During our time there we chatted with Scott, the bartender, who was amazing at his job and also very good to talk to.
The food was delicious. I had the Penne Vodka and we also had Gnocchi with an arrabiata source and Italian sausage in there since we wanted the gnocchi on the menu but without mushrooms (which was not possible) based on Scott's recommendation.
Again, it was a great time and we will definitely go back.
Fab rustic Italian food, easily accomodated with my food severe allergies, great service every time.
Very good food, nice ambiance in the heart of Vail
Mushroom funghi was amazing. They had no iced tea at 530pm. How does that happen? Olive oil on the table tasted rancid.
Excellent food and service. Been here a couple times and one of our favorite spots in Vail. Some nice wine options, homemade pasta, along with the freshest mozzarella caprese I have ever had. Overall menu had good options of meat and seafood dishes. A neat restaurant on the second floor with an open kitchen and balcony housing a few tables outside.
Great food and service!
Lived up to my expectations. Great service, great ambiance, great food and fairly priced. One of my faves in Vail.
One of my favorite restaurants in Vail. An excellent representation of classic Italian food. The prosciutto and melon is delicious and the gnocchi bolognese is not to be missed. Excellent Italian wine selection with a few domestic options as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. In traditional European style they do pack quite a few people in on busy nights so be prepared for close quarters.
We totally cheated by going during the Super Bowl. Usually reservations are required and hard to get. Superb Italian food and excellent service even when they're hopping.
The ABSOLUTE best, authentic Italian food I've had in the state of Colorado! I'm 100% Italian and lived in Rome for 4 years and after my first bite of my penne caprese I felt like I was back in Rome. Phenomenal food, wait staff, and menu. Living in Denver now and wish there was still one here. Love, love, love!!!!! Thank you Campo Di Fiori for the amazing food experience! =)
