The best sushi ever! 😋🍣❤
We've always liked the WP Sushi Bar. For an inland restaurant, high up in the Rockies, it always seems to have fresh fish and the rice is always done perfectly.
They've changed a lot over the years, so I suppose my review is based on that. They used to have a dinner for 2 on the menu, which served a 4 course meal and it was such a great deal - we ordered it every time we went. They also used to serve a lot more on the menu, but have taken a lot off in recent years, including tako and other sushi mains you're used to seeing on the menu.
They've always had a dim restaurant mood, but with the red walls and red lighting now, it's hard to see anything - every picture that I loaded here is red; you can't see the contrast in color of the sushi, which is exactly what you want to see.
The rumor lately has been that the service sucks here, but I've never personally experienced that. We went tonight for our 12 year wedding anniversary and had a great time.
Awesome food and awesome service. We ate veggie rolls and veggie tempura which was out of the world. The miso soup was great too!!!
For a small county sushi place It is very very good. Good lighting great atmosphere. Music can very but the food and everything else is amazing. Plus amazing plum and pear wine. I love going there.
Some of the best Sushi I've ever had. Maryjane, Screaming O and Nine-Fifteen was the perfect amount of rolls for two people. Great atmosphere too!
The sushi here is very good. We mostly order rolls and have not been disappointed. However, I never know when they are open. Even when I call ahead, it is difficult because they don't open until 4pm & don't always keep the voicemail updated, especially during mud season (fall & spring) . I have gone several times only to end up eating at the Chinese place upstairs. Also, there is a 10% charge for to go orders. I'm not sure if that is to cover the tip or not as I have never seen that anywhere else.
