We were traveling down the mountain on I-70 towards Denver, when they closed the road at Silverthorne due to a heavy winter storm. We were directed off the freeway and after driving around with zero visibility we stopped to park. Turns out that we were parked in the restaurant's parking lot, so we decided to get something to eat. What luck the food was great and so was the service. They let us hang out while we waited to hear if they would open the road. BTW.. the road did not open till the next morning and we spent the night at a shelter on Red Cross cots.

The food and drinks are inexpensive but still good. The thing that makes this place special is the staff - everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. It's a great place to have a few drinks and meet new people.

They have green chili, a rarity outside of New Mexico. My omelette was great, the home fries were cooked to my picky tastes. Wasn't a fan of the biscuit, but I don't much like breads so I wasn't surprised.

The portions were fair, but didn't quite fill me up this morning. Prices were just as fair, especially for Summit County standards. It was indeed small inside but very comfy and the service was impeccable. The staff was constantly cracking jokes among themselves, adding to the comfy atmosphere.

Awesome place to go. Great service. Tasty food. It is a little small inside but super cozy. There was 5 of us and we were all happy with our choices.Definitely would recommend this great little place.

This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. There is no better service from the wait staff and bartenders in all of Summit County. I highly recommend the BBQ plate.

Great service and great food. The hash had big chunks of corned beef. The barbecue burger was delicious.

Very comfortable sitting outside in nice weather. The best boy was the most effective best I've ever seen.

Loved this cafe! Right off Lake Dillon, next to the Amphitheater and Dam. We stopped for lunch after a walk along Dillon Reservoir.

Food was delicious! Burgers are everything the other reviewers say. The service was great! We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was quick, friendly and patient as we helped our kids decide what to order - he even volunteered to bring a sample of the daily soup for our boys to try.

We loved the log cabin feel, historic pictures of Dillon and the lovely flowers and umbrellas decorating the patio. The setting is gorgeous with the mountains and Lake Dillon.

Prices were very reasonable - perfect for what we received, but less than I thought it would be based on the great location and delicious food! They had fun kids mats with activities for the kids and our boys are begging to come back for breakfast!

Absolutely fantastic food with friendly and quick service. Hands down best breakfast in Summit County. Go do yourself a favor and check them out.

Great food and service. Family had full rake of BBQ Pork Ribs, was made just right, so soft and good, lots. Also had Rocky Mountain Ruby Red Trout for my son. He loved it so much it was hard to get a bit to teast. Yesterday they ran out of Steak Diane, so we are getting it today and its so good my son finished it before I managed to finish writing this review ;-) .
Waitress was very good and nice, very helpful with description of food and suggestions.
