Next to Hemingway house to see the kitties, this is the best stop in Key West. I did not want to leave. The gift shop is fantastic as well: has souvenirs that range from museum quality ($$$) down to tourist toy store quality for when you are down to pocket change.

This place is magical. They manage to always have hundreds of beautiful butterflies roaming around and I've never not had one land on me. There are adorable button quail running about and a peaceful creek. I've taken some of the best pictures I have here. Well worth ten bucks

Nice butterfly place and large gift shop for the size of the exhibit itself. Would probably give it 5 stars but we have a huge butterfly conservatory on the US/Canada border so I have to say I've seen a better one. Not their fault, but the exhibit could be bigger if they made the giant gift shop a little smaller.

I'm not a big butterfly guy, but I have to say this was pretty cool. If your looking for something fun to do and show your lady friend your softer side this is it. Margie is super nice and very helpful.

The gift shop is well stocked and some of their items are unusual and beautiful. The butterfly garden is relatively small but well maintained, full of colorful and active butterflies, a few birds, and lots of colorful plants. The cost of admission is very fair. My mother and I really enjoyed our visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

During our vacation cruise trip, the ship stopped at the Key West Islands and we hopped on one of the city sightseeing small buses that took us this iconic and beautiful Butterfly Store. Clean environment. Staff is friendly and welcoming to tourists. I highly recommend other visitors to stop at the place.

A place you definitely should visit. We were on the fence about whether or not we should. Seeing butterflies doesn't sound like something you'd spend money on. But it's such a serene and relaxing place. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The store is expensive tho

Wonderful way to spend an hour or two. Hundreds of beautiful, vibrantly colored butterflies to see up close. Learn more about their life cycle.
Super cute gift shop, too. Usually there's a coupon for $2 off admission in the free coupon books in the hotels.

If you're into butterflies and birds, this place is a sneak peak into Paradise! Hundreds of butterflies flying around you, exotic bird species, turtles, fishes, and a flamingo couple make the space absolutely charming! The staff are knowledgeable and take time to chat about the animals and science. The store front has some unique souvenirs and gifts. Worth the money and time!

This is THE must see of the island. Even if you are in Key West just to drink and party, this peaceful place is a wonderful way to recharge before going back out to the bars. Imagine, if you will, Dorothy opening the door to her house and being amazed by the colors of Oz. it's like that when you open the door into the conservatory. Butterflies flit around and fill your view. It's almost too much to take in all at once. Fortunately you can move at your own pace through the place and take it all in. It's not just butterflies either. Birds, turtles, fish, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff inhabit the place.

A truly unique experience. My wife really wanted to visit while we are here in Key West, me not so much. You can stay for as short or as long as you want, and the butterfly exhibit was quite relaxing. A must see in Key West.
