Great food, great service. My family has been wanting to take me for a long time. Finally went for the first time. Great experience. Many varieties. Would definitely come again.

They are open even on federal holidays. My family always stop by here when shopping from Fort Wayne, but over the years they have dropped in dinner quality. It still gets pack at 5pm and they don't allow you to bring strollers in for babies. For these detriments, I dropped my review down from 5-star. Honestly rather go to Fujiyama now.
The upside is that the large variety between American and asian food is still their best features, especially the large fruit and salad bar for the more healthy and active people.response / report this review -

GO for lunch, under $10, mostly the same food as in the evenings, which costs you $20. They have absolutely amazing coconut shrimp. Salad is bad, don't eat it. Sushi is pretty good, some of the other fish and chicken is decent, just not exceptional. But decent. But load up on that coconut shrimp. Place is clean, they're polite, food's decent, and coconut shrimp is so awesome. Oh, heads up, they don't have coconut shrimp on weekends. Don't know why, but in the evenings they do have crab legs, so go for it.

The food is terrible. It isn't just "not great". It's disgusting. I got one plate and didn't finish it. The fish was lukewarm and tasted terrible. The sushi was the same quality as gas station sushi. This is the kind of seafood that makes people think that they hate seafood. Do not go here if you've never really had seafood because it will make you hate it. Do not go here if you have had good seafood because this isn't anywhere near that quality.

Lowering my rating from 4 to 2. When my Wife and I first ate here the food was fresh and hot. A great place. Lately not so much. Service is still decent but crab legs have gotten smaller(maybe seasonal?), food quality is average and frankly the restaurant hasn't been as clean. We gave it a couple more tries and decided we don't care for it anymore. Bummerused to be one of our spots.

Not a bad place, but definitely not as good as people have said it is. The food is standard Chinese buffet fair with crab legs and prime rib for dinner. Some items were over cooked but most things were cooked properly. One thing is it appeared that the sushi area wasn't chilled very well, resulting in the sushi being on the warm side. With the quick rotation this didn't seem to be too much of an issue though.
All in all I don't think it's completely worth the $25 (with drink and tip) for dinner to go here. You can find similar places with similar selection for less. But for $10ish for lunch it's not a bad choice at all.response / report this review -

This has to be one of my most favorite sushi buffets in the Indy area. It is always fresh and a huge selection. And for the price of $9 lunch through the week, you can't go wrong! Plus all the other standard Chinese food staples, a chocolate fountain, crepe station, Mongolian grill, and more. This buffet is worth what you pay for and more.

It's $21 a person for dinner. That's kind of expensive for a buffet. But you are getting crab legs, crawfish, and sushi. Which are normally expensive items. I have been here many times in the past 5 years. But my last couple experiences have definitely lowered my once high opinion of this place. They do have a great sushi selection. It is fresh & they keep it well stocked. The roast beef & meat area are always stocked & full as well. However, they continually over cook the crab legs. The ice cream freezer was broke so my kids weren't happy about that. The salad, fruit, dessert bar needed to be refilled in almost everything. Some of the items were completely out. The chocolate fountain they have is very cool, but if you don't keep things stocked that you can dip in the fountain, what are you supposed to do then? This place has definitely started going downhill. Please stop it from going any further! Once you have fixed everything that is wrong, I will revise my review and give you more stars. Until then, stop lowering your standards and raise the bar back up.

I love this place. I've done business meeting with vendors here as well as a casual lunch out with the family. The price is amazing at lunch time and the staff is always super nice and friendly. The restaurant is always clean and the food delicious. The owners do an amazing job with this place and i hope they keep it for many years.

The food is mediocre. The service is terrible. The buffet serves Asian fare and seafood and like golden corral you can also get carved prime rib. You have to ask for everything and the entire wait staff although pleasant seemed distant. And will present you check with 30 minutes of eating. The deserts were horrible defrosted mass produced and tasteless. Dinner is twice as much than lunch. I wouldn't waste my money for dinner. If you are wanting a pleasurable dinner, go somewhere else.

I loved this place because the variety of seafood. My favorite plate was coconut shrimp. It was Delicious! If you don't like seafood I don't recommend you this place. Only 4 stars because I had to wait for more than 15 minutes in line.

On my first visit (lunch), everything was pretty good, the wait staff was excellent (even did some magic for them), but the breaded shrimp reeked of Chlorine. Second trip with the entire family (dinner) sesame chicken was cold, green beans were cold, everything my wife got was cold. Prime rib was great, but if Momma ain't happyAt the exorbitant prices they charge for dinner, it should have been much much better.. very disappointing, and almost $80 for three people! smh This may have been good at one time, but since changing ownership and name - don't botherthey are no better than any other Chinese buffet in Indy

Compared to the prices that other same level restaurant, I would say that here is a high quality low price buffet. Sea food and salads are various and fresh. Yummy Asian food provided. Suggest to come during week day lunch time, it's not so much crowd during that time and you can enjoy more.

This place is an amazing weekday lunch deal, especially if you burn a lot of calories at work.
At the time of this writing the weekday lunch buffet is under $9 per person.
Staff is attentive and quite friendly.
Surroundings are quite upscale.
Food is delicious, plentiful, and fresh.
Sushi is about the best I've ever had at a buffet and for the price it's a great choice for a weekday lunch.
Even the lunch buffet offers tasty clam chowder with plenty of clams. Goes great with the also available garlic bread.
Wide selection of interesting fruits also.
Three made to order stations even at lunch: stir fry, noodle soup, and crepes.
The significantly higher price weekend dinner is fabulous. It is expensive, but the buffet nearly overflows with seafood. Sushi is upgraded also and crab cakes were on the buffet the one time I've been blessed with the opportunity to weekend dinner here recently.
I would certainly recommend The Journey if you're looking for a place to go.
The booths on the east side of the center island are some of my favorite. Good view of the place and comfy seats.response / report this review
