The pool looked awesome. The breakfast was nothing amazing, but was tasty. The bed was nice and firm. The night clerk was great he gave us advice on local restaurants.

I have visited house on the rock in many times and this was by far the most disappointing visit. First of all the hot tub chemicals were so out of balance that it left chemical burns on my daughter's legs and ruined my brand new swimming suit. The submarine attraction was closed one night and is in such disrepair that the water of the kiddie pool was full of rust. Areas of the pool were closed throughout the weekend due to maintenance issues and there was no maintenance personnel to fix them. In the rooms the beds were all angled in odd directions because they were so old, the wifi didn't work at all in the rooms, and the ice bucket was full of mildew. I've been to the inn at least 6 times and will not be planning to go back.

A wonderful inn with spectacular views and a satisfactory breakfast. Though where this place REALLY shines is it's miniature water park. With plenty of space for kids to play, a spacious pool and equally spacious spa make this a perfect place to relax after a visit to The House On The Rock. Be sure to ask about package pricing to save a little extra!

I visited the House on the Rock Inn with my husband and toddler. We spent two nights there. The pool was the best part by far. The big submarine in the shallow pool was very popular with the kids. The room was adequate, if a little musty. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast fare with yogurt, cereal, muffins, toast, oatmeal, mini donuts, coffee, tea, and juice. The gift shop has many of the same items as the House on the Rock attraction, so that was nice.

Friendly staff, willing to help and direct I patrons towards local spots. Rooms are a comfortable size, with some updating possibly required. The pool is AMAZING, however! Great for children (and possibly adults) is the submarine water feature in the kid pool.

Picked up a package deal that included the room and tickets to House on the Rock proper. Very happy with the savings and the atmosphere.

However, I'd love to see the bar by the lobby front desk open. It's a cool looking place that seems to be neglected.

By no means a luxury hotel, but a fantastic experience that is remarkably affordable. It's in a beautiful area and a convenient drive from The House on the Rock. The rooms are nice for the price and the hotel itself features a bar, a gym, fantastic indoor and outdoor pools with a Jacuzzi and even a small water park for kids. Downsides are that there is little to no cell service, and the wifi is basically usable for anything more than sending a simple email. There is Continental breakfast, but it is nothing special either. The House on the Rock itself, by the way, is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The hotel+tour package is an incredible deal and I highly recommend it!

The thing I did not like was that under our room had a machine that produced noise and vibration.Also breakfast was not good. They had offered only sweet things, no eggs or sausages or bacon.

The location was perfect, near House on the Rock of course. There is also a town 5 minutes down the road with a few good restaurants. This was welcome since the lounge in the Inn was closed. Our room was basic but clean. The Continental breakfast was on par with other hotels of this level. I would be happy to stay here again.

Not the fanciest or most modern but clean and well kept. The pools: indoor, outdoor, kids area, hot tub, are great and the stay/tour package is a decent deal. If you're looking for food Dino's delivers cheap decent bar fare and pizza.

The hotel was beautiful! There was a lot of seating in the common areas that was comfortable and inviting. The staff was very nice! The pool areas were a lot of fun for the whole family! The whirlpool was fantastic. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that our hallway and room were very hot and a little uncomfortable. To be fair, we didn't complain to the staff either since we were just staying one night. I would definitely recommend The House on the Rock Inn!

We booked this hotel as a web special. 2 tickets to the House on the Rocks attraction with our stay. Since the reason we were traveling here was the house on the rocks we booked it.

Very friendly staff, and since it was early season, and a weeknight, few guests other than us. Which means our room was quiet and so was breakfast. Not a lot on the menu, but enough to get us going.

The outdoor pool and lounge area was closed, and we didn't use the indoor pool and kid water-park area. But it LOOKED cool.

The room was nice, beds sleep ok, and the shower was hot with good water pressure and SOFT towels. Not the hard scratchy ones in other places.

If in the area again, I'd def stay again.

Pleasantly surprised! Very nice staff and clean facility. Rooms were clean, but the beds were a bit hard. Pools/tub were appropriate temp. Continental breakfast was very basic, but what I expected. Overall a nice place to stay - would definitely stay there again. Get the stay and tour package - well worth it!!

We stayed here on on a road trip when we decided to visit the House on the Rock. This hotel is very near the actual house, so was very convenient. It was also the only reasonably priced hotel in the area that was not a drive-up motel, which I hate having to stay at.

Yes, the hotel has dated equipment. The furniture are older styles, and the TV is an older CRT, but you didn't make the trip out here to watch TV right?

The hotel itself is large, with a spacious entry area, wide hallways, and all interior rooms. Rooms were adequately large, and very clean. Everything was in good working order. There is also a nice bar on premise that was open late.

We also LOVED the pool! It had a really cool submarine structure in a shallow pool that's great for kids (though we're 30 and thoroughly enjoyed it). It has all kinds of hoses dripping or leaking water simulating a crashed submarine. There was also some rock structures with other decorations. Of course they also had a deeper normal indoor pool, in addition to an outdoor pool.

For the price we paid, especially relative to all the "rip offs" in the Wisconsin Dells area, I was extremely pleased with our stay and if I was in the area again I would not hesitate to stay here.

This is a very nice clean place to stay. With the pools, art and the inn's design it feels like a resort. The staff were helpful and very nice. My only complaint is the beds were kinda hard. For $200 We got tickets and a room for four. So the room only cost about $100. Great price for a great place to stay.

Great place to stay when in the area! Fair price for a room during the Wisc Dells busy season too. Our room was 2 Queen beds & although the room still had an old CRT TV, outdated comforters & some stains & burns in the carpet I thought it was a fantastic place. The room & the bathroom were very clean. They have an indoor & outdoor pool along w/ a small children's indoor water play area that has 2 very small slides off a giant submarine. There is a hot tub also but the temp wasn't as hot as it should be been. The pools are heated but were colder than the children's play area. There is also a small arcade that includes air hockey; some of the games were broken w/ no signs on them. There is a small free continental breakfast from 7-9am but we didn't partake in it. The hotel was very quiet except that we got the last room which was right across from the breakfast room & it was loud early in the morning. The bar also serves good drinks & local beers at great prices!

My friends and I had an awesome stay at the hotel, we stayed on the second floor and used the indoor swimming pool area and we had a blast! Although the room was warm at times because the a/c functions automatically, two of the three of us were able to sleep well. We missed the continental breakfast in the morning by 5min (our fault) and the bar was open during weird hours so food was not an option at the hotel during our stay. We stayed up late and played board games and it was not a problem that were were being loud. We stayed on a Monday night and visited House on the rock earlier in the day, one if my friends wanted to shower in our room before we we went there but check in starts at 3pm and we arrived around 2pm so it was not possible, something to consider before you arrive if you have been camping or on a road trip.
