  Ate here for lunch while visiting from Savannah. The fried green tomato poboy was heavenly! You must try the goat cheese cheese cake! Friendly service. I recommend sharing a sandwich as they are huge!

  Menu is not extensive but absolutely everything on the menu is excellent. Service is outstanding and pricing is very reasonable. Great local option in a convenient location. One of my favorites in this part of Charleston.

  Great food and great service. I got the fried pork chops meal topped with fried cauliflower which was made a bit differently but very good. The meals are a bit pricy but come with a lot of food so would great for splitting or sharing. Overall, will definitely be going back next time I’m close to Charleston.

  The menu is a bit intriguing but offers something for every palate. That being said somethings are an absolute hit ( catfish, fried chicken and quail!) and others are average but all in all the food was good.

  You can't go wrong here! Southern food but freshly prepared. Lunch is order and sit down, but for dinner, a little more fancy. Sit down and they provide table service. Menu is also differentmore hearty.

  My wife and I took friends there from N.J. we eat there often, they can't wait to come back to Charleston, just to eat at the glass onion. Food and service out of this world

  Fantastic service! Deviled eggs were tasty, the shrimp toast left something to be desired for $2 you get a tiny piece of baguette with a blended shrimp topping. Nice flavor, but I was expecting something larger. The meatloaf was ok, but could have used a bit of gravy or marinara to moisten it a tad.

  You have to try the Tuesday dinner fried chicken. It's the juiciest fried chicken ever. Be sure to reserve your chicken ahead of time. The shells and cheese, and the fried pork chops are also excellent. Friendly service always.

  Shrimp po'boy is outstanding! Sandwich is so big you need to eat it with a fork. Stewed tomatoes and okra were very tasty, BUT, too spicy for me. Good flavor though.

  Food was awesome. Small place and got a bit loud (like I had to yell to speak with my wife sitting next to me). Could've been the table of loud ladies, but food made up for it. The house Julep wasn't that good, but beer was ice cold. The fried green tomatoes & pimento was super cool. We both had catfish over grits and were blown away.
  Dug it. Awesome spot with awesome food.

  This place is all about hype and being trendy. An appetizer, two sandwiches and a few (way over priced) beers was over $70. Definitely not worth a repeat visit, I can get the same quality food if not better for half the price elsewhere.

  Underappreciated with the overrated Swig n Swine next door. I had the fried quail with Mac n cheese side. Both were delicious, and just like a home cooked meal.

  Good food and a friendly staff. Portions are great and you only need to order one side of fries for a table. Just get more ketchup.

  A fun little restaurant with really good food. We've been there several times, and tonight was good as usual. We had the fried chicken (with collards and mash) and ribeye steak (blue cheese and fries). Generous servings and soooo tasty.
  
  I do wish they had a few more beer taps, but the selection of bottles is respectable.
  
  Already looking forward to our next visit!

  Enjoyed the fresh local quail and it was prepared absolutely superbly! (brought back immediate wonderful childhood memories!)
  My guest(s) enjoyed wild caught shrimp & grits that were equally as delightful as mine
  There is alot of passion and love involved with every dish!
  The price was more than fair in exchange for the high quality of their ingredients It was worth every penny!
