I love the store, it's conveniently located, and the sales associates are super helpful! They don't pressure you to buy and it's an overall very pleasant experience. I usually like to go in here to try on all the shoes and then I'll just order my shoes online.
An average shoe shopping experience in Soho. Knowledgeable staff and a vast selection of styles make this a stop and see but buy online shopping location.
Love Frye. Limited selection for men as usual in all stores but still good
Huge shop. Everything is $$$ thou haha. Very good quality leather with some of the classic wears. Its definitely a place to shop for a special one or celebration.
Staff was not helpful and sold me a shoe in a size too small for my calves saying that it would stretch over time but it did not even after two years . Eventually I got it fixed by an amazing cobbler uptown - Pavlos Shoe Repair- by getting an extra strip of matching leather entered down the backs. Buy a size up for wide calves and trust your gut and don't fall for the brand name. They have excellent quality but they have nothing but sales pitches in the store. Have them bring you multiple sizes and get the one that you feel most comfortable in.
Fantastic boots and really lovely helpful staff. My boots are only a few months old now but they're beautiful quality and I can't wait to wear them in for years to come.
The employees in the store are super helpful and not at all pushy which is very refreshing. They know their product backwards and forwards.
Great shoes. Staff was helpful
We got a very helpful assistant. She was very accommodating to my wife trying on multiple shoe sizes.
My Frye boots are great! However, the service at The Frye Company store in Soho was terrible. I was there on Monday morning, December 12. The sales reps lacked energy and enthusiasm to serve me. They made no recommendations until I suggested trying another size. I felt disrespected when I went to the register and neither of the two women assisted me. They didn't make eye contact, smile or say "I'll be off the phone in a minute and help you". After 5 minutes I walked away and asked the person who helped me if she could check me out. She was very helpful but it took awhile because I had a coupon. Another delay. My boyfriend and I left for lunch and without a prompt for me he said "I would've purchased those $459.00 boots but those people didn't care one way or another so I didn't buy them". Finally I friend dropped by on Monday afternoon and shared that she purchased some boots but didn't think they were customer oriented at all. So Soho Frye Company, you've got a great product but you need to have a group meeting and watch some customer service videos on YouTube.
Service is always good. It gets crowded on weekends and evenings so be ready to wait for try on etc. Frye shoes are super comfortable, well made and good looking.
Great sales people. Didn't like that they don't have all the models that are online
