While the store was nicely stocked, the service was not what I expected. Called before going to the store for pointe shoe fitting and was told to just come in as they would see people in 30 minute intervals. When we got there the store was not busy, but we were asked to make appointment then. Arrived at 3 and the earliest slot was 4:30. Fine, left and returned at 4:15. Store was empty, staff just looked at us and went into back room, made us wait until 4:30 for fitting. Yes she was knowledgeable but very disappointed with the attention or lack there of.

Extremely disappointed. Service was terrible, store was messy, and there stock was terrible. We were not greeted and the sales associates wouldn't help when we asked and made us wait 15 minutes when the store was not busy at all. The dressing rooms were messy and it was hard to find what I wanted in the store. I even went to the other Capezio store in New York the one in Amsterdam and received the same service there. I will never shop with Capezio again after this terrible experience.

My son and I had a fast and wonderful experience today getting shoes, pants, and shirt for his dance class at The Dock Street School. Capezio had everything we needed and the sales staff were very nice and helpful. The wonderful lady in the shoe department was very patient and fitted my son perfectly. My son's dance teacher highly recommended Capezio and I have to agree with her.

On the upper floor so easily missed if you didn't know exactly what you were looking for. The flagship store however has everything from shoes to apparel, kids section is a decent size too.

HUGE assortment of dancewear. For a plus sized dancer you may have a little difficulty, but for NYC stores they have more selection than anyone. Some leos only go to L so that's a bummer, but there's lots of cute ones in XL. And they carry various brands so sizing is not always consistent. The staff was as hands-on as you want them to be; if you needed help searching for something they were willing and polite or if you wanted to browse and do your own thing you totally could.

Great store! Wise variety of options! A big selection of items for kids, teens and young adults. But a small selection for adults. Still a very great store! The store is on the SECOND floor of an office building. Employees are very kind and helpful!
