Come here often, as it's close to theaters in the NoHo area. Easy access with paid parking in the back. Food is good, too. Sometimes on the overly spicy side for my palette, though. Recommend this place.

Tonight. We decided to head over to federal our go to spot towards the end of the night. The bouncer there tonight blew my mind I figured it was completely packed up there and that's why he was making everyone wait 5-10 minutes before being able to get in. Usually you can go up right away. So we wait 10minutes the girls in front of us got tired of waiting.. the girls behind. Anyways I counted about 9 people leaving in the time we waited = 9 people leaving. $90 gone for federal. Then the amount they would of paid in drinks is gone too I paid 24 bucks for 2 tidos and soda with tip so 9 people would of been about 200bucks work of business + cover 290bucks gone within 10 mins of this bouncer making people wait to get into an empty place. Stupidity at it's finest..

Popular spot, very hip and fun. Arrived around 9pm on a Friday night and although there is plenty of seating the bar areas fill up fast. I hear dancing is on second floor? Didn't make up there this time, will have to try on our next visit.

We actually went to the new speakeasy bar "The Salon" located on the second floor behind the stage in the club. The cocktails were good, definitely a smaller, more intimate area. Music from the club could be felt later in the evening which was a little distracting with the ambient music in the speakeasy. Getting some food at the restaurant down stairs before heading up to the speakeasy would make a fun night.

I'll start with the cons. Which were the security guards or bouncers there was a girl whom was drunk she kept exposing herself and I know everyone knew she was too drunk and the bouncers could have sent her home or helped her but instead they laughed at her. My pros are it was fun, the music was danceable, and the drinks weren't too expensive.
I would definitely give it 5 stars if that situation hadn't happened.

    1 star for customer service
1 more star for great beer menu

Blame it on the holiday weekend, I'll blame it on bad management and apathetic employees.

Waited a long time for a table. We saw a family leave a table and we were told that this table was for us. We saw all of the employees in the room walk by this table at least once, if not twice. Only one employee cleaned up the champagne glasses. After at least 4 discussions with the person seating the tables was it finally cleaned, partially.

    No apologies at all.

Brunch was mediocre. It's not a bad deal if you're going there for their bottomless mimosas, $20 including one entree ($10-12 value). Just be prepared to wait a really long time. Longer than they say it will take.

Nice old building. I was looking forward to trying this place out. However, drinks were just OK, and my burger was a tasteless mush. Not at all impressed.

The waitstaff was extremely slow. We were seated quickly. We received our drinks quickly, and them waited 15 minutes before the waiter came back because she was in the corner talking to her sister. The food came quickly and it was okay, nothing to write home about. When we asked for our check, the waiter took about 10 minutes to bring it, then we waited another 15 minutes for her to pick it up. She took the credit card into the back, which makes me uncomfortable. She took about 5 to 10 minutes in the back before she came back out. The place would have three or four stars if the waiter actually waited and didn't stand around talking to her sister and some of the patrons for long periods of time.

Good food and an interesting selection of beer. The poutine is good, and the design your own poutine nights are worth coming out for. They also have some good salads and interesting desserts. A good place to come after work, or at lunch. Or anytime really.

Incredible pretzels. Great "place to be" vibe both at the restaurant and the club upstairs for those who are not famous, just down to earth living the high life fun or semi fun people

I home here with some co-workers and friends on Monday nights for trivia. The food is great and the place has a great ambiance. Service is okay, can be a little slow at times. So far i've only really ordered sides and appetizers but it's all been very good. They have poutine that you can customize and I love the roasted pork belly appetizer. Great selection of drinks as well. Overall, great place.

Simply the best bar in NoHo. It has it all. A total of 3 bars, great food, great tenders and waitresses. A different form of entertainment upstairs and down almost every night. Special events, dancing, comedy, live band karaoke, jazz. The staff could not be any nicer, and the beer selection and mixologist on hand are the best you'll find in the arts district.

My new favorite restaurant. My friend and I shared the tuna poke salad, chicken biscuit sliders and the grilled asparagus. All were absolutely delicious. I am definitely coming back again and again! I want to try their Mac and cheese next time!

We had our wedding/reception here. Awesome venue. The staff was super helpful and extremely friendly. Great pricing if you're looking for a smaller event. All food items I tried were amazing, especially the brisket. Great fusion of retro and industrial aesthetics.
