Food was wonderful, but if you have a diner who is looking for unadventurous then this might not be the place. I loved it and would definitely go back. The service was fantastic too. Small dining space so reservations are a good idea.

Really great experience here. It's refreshing to see a thoughtful menu and even better, the food actually lived up to my hopes. Everything was cooked properly, and I was excitedly introduced to new flavors. Someone in the back is thinking, experimenting and tasting. Most surprisingly, considering local competition, they actually SEASON the food!

Service was excellent and the food was amazing! Tried some new things and very glad I did! The chef has renewed my interest in salmon with the taste sample sent to us. Will definitely be back!

Excellent meal! They had a prix fixe menu for $35 it was an amazing deal. Kale salad was good but nothing special. Biscuit appetizer also good but it didn't really fit into the menu - two large heavy biscuits too much for one person. The entree was my favorite: mahi with a crunchy granola topping over squid ink polenta. So delicious! And the key lime pie dessert was also great. Wine selection seemed good but we didn't drink. Definitely going back!

We really enjoyed our dinner at The Fat Snook. I found it via a Google search when we were staying in Cocoa Beach. The parking lot was crowded and we had to park a bit away, that's the only reason for 4 stars. Otherwise, the service and food were fantastic. The price point is what I expected. My only other suggestion would be to have a little more variety.

A unique dining experience! The chef makes wonderful food and the wine selection is great too. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Space is limited, so I would recommend a reservation!

On a whim, after seeing this place and it's menu online, I decided to take my wife out to a date night dinner here which we don't get to do very often because of obvious work. Being involved with food as part of work, and living in a small town, seeing the combinations of flavours on the menu immediately sparked my intrigue, and let me tell you, I was most certainly not disappointed for a single bite. I almost feel as if I could write a small book about our experience, it was that good. Definitely worth the hour drive and trying the 8 different items on the menu, and look forward to experiencing not only their full menu but their sister restaurant as well. Gladly gave the $10 kitchen "house tip"!!!

Excellent restaurant. Food and service were superb. We tried the crab appetizer special which was a combination of sweet and spicy. The beet salad had golden and regular beets with goat cheese. So scrumptious. I had the pesto shrimp over pumpkin cheese grits in a cream sauce. So rich and filling. Wish I could have tried dessert but I was too full. They are known for their key lime pie. I saw one brought to a nearby table and it looked amazing.

We selected the Fat Snook for our Valentine's Night date, we are staying in Cocoa Beach for the week and researched several dining establishments, their online menu had caught our attention, but the special menu prepared for the occasion blew our minds and palates away!! Beyond our expectations, the culinary imagination and expertise from ingredients to presentation were astounding; the wines selected to pair with each course were as delicious as the courses themselves. The ambiance was wonderfully low key but hip and relaxed, after all, we were not here for the decoration but for the food. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable, you could tell they knew well, and were proud of the fare they served. A truly enjoyable experience we're definitely looking forward to coming back and trying their 'regular' fare before we leave for home! AAA!
