Everything was meh, I was severely underwhelmed however as I'm not one to look at a menu, I love my Irish pubs. And always get the same thing if it's served, I came over from Minnesota to visit, and asked my server if you served shepherds pie, she said yes so I ordered that
But as someone who is half Irish, and half English. I simply cannot forgive an "Irish" pub that can't tell the difference between a shepherds pie and a cottage pie
A shepherds pie has lamb or muttonhence shepherd as they tend to sheep!
A cottage pie has beef in it, when you add chicken it just becomes a chicken pot pie
In no way do I blame the server, I don't expect them to be cultured. But if you're going to advertise yourself as an Irish pub. At least be accurate
Had they have just called them a beef or chicken pot pie, I wouldn't be so disappointed.

Usually i have experienced great service and wonderful food. The service was rather inadequate at the last visit and food was not terrific. Certainly it was just an off day.

Great selection of traditional Irish dishes, which isn't easy to find. So I would definitely recommend going here when in the area! More on the expensive side, but well worth it!

Great food and great servers ( Courtney ). Good sized portions. Did not try dessert. Appreciated the elevator to the lower floor restroom !

Great Irish pub feel. Celtic music playing in the background, scotch and burbon on tap. Will fill a growler too (as well as provide one). Guinness battered food is great! Awesome fish and chips!

Arrived at the Curragh about 9:30 pm on a Saturday. Ordered the bread pudding and a Guinness or two. Dessert was a good quantity and quality, of course the Guinness was great. Service was very good. Place had a good ambience with seating outside or in. Bathroom was downstairs and there was soap, water and the essentials. The local crowd starting arriving around 10:30 and was fairly busy. Enjoy!

I've been going here with my friends for several months now for Trivia Nights on Thursdays. Usually good food, service and trivia is a blast. Tonight however, a new waitress who said shed been gone for a year asked for all of our ID's once we sat down. I asked why and she said that anyone under 21 has to leave at 10pm. Again, I've been going here for 4 months now and never has this been an issue (I'm 20). GM came out and stated its been a rule for two years and reassured me that all of his staff followed protocol (obviously not) and that there definitely is a sign (okay but where?). I wouldn't be as aggravated as I am if:
(1) I hadn't been going to this for months
(2) I didn't have to drive 45 minutes one way
(3) If they apologized or seemed sorry at all
(4) Or at least paid for the pop I had
Regardless, my group is moving to a place down the street that does it on Wednesdays without the age cap.

We ate at the bar. Drinks were delicious, food was good, bartender was great. The broad next to us didn't tip.. Don't go anywhere and be served, and NOT tip your server/ bartender. All the staff was friendly.

This was our first visit at The Curragh. We're new to this area, and after few not so good experiences, we were quite worried this might have been yet another disaster. Surprise! Surprise! This place is great, very nice atmosphere, very pub-like, loud yet not obnoxious. Very friendly staff, great food and alcohol selection. I know for some here it's not good enough, but we like it. We don't get a chance to get out much, so when we do, we really appreciate every successful evening together. And The Curragh became one of few Holland's favorite spots for sure.

Just dined for the first time with my best friend. We enjoyed our experience. Our server Chandra was so nice and gave excellent suggestions ( seafood bruschetta and bacon wrapped shrimp). The food and service was so amazing we had to speak with the owner Sophia who was amazing as well. I definitely will recommend this place and will return!

My fave place in Holland! The atmosphere is what takes it here! Outdoor seating in the summer, indoor near the fire place in the winter, service is always spectacular (Tomi is the BEST waitress). This has become our 'date night' spot. Food never disappoints, always very delicious!
