My family used this place when we were on the verge of becoming homeless, and continued to use it after we became homeless. They have my mom the run around and basically just pushed a bunch of paper work that didn’t really become of anything; another agency we were working with (not by choice) produced results in far less time than cornerstone did. The two stars is for the fact that since then I’ve had another family use this place and they’ve helped them start to get back up on their feet and keep a roof over their head.

Worked with them after losing my job cap representative asked for info and after I sent it she would not reply to emails asking if she received what she needed and voice-mail was always full no way to leave a message. Person who I was working with for help with rent directed me to erap and when I was rejected I spoke with her again she said let me check a few things and then just blew me off.

We have been trying to get help with this place for almost a month and it’s always a run around they know the situation and act like they can’t help if they have helped u in the past god bless y’all cuz we can’t get help no where never have we had to ask for help from anyone and when u do try and get help it is 1 big hassle I don’t see how they have helped anyone with their rules it just don’t make no sense everyone else can get help y can’t we

Marla promised in text message I'd have my own place, food, help with food stamps, insurance, birth certificate and ss card. I spent 33days in a hotel to be pushed out (promise broken) and was told either a nursing home or 3/4 house. I scored for a program Marla wanted to put me in with NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I was given some support lady who doesn't seem to be too knowledgeable or supportive. There's$1.5 million in grants for people of my situation, and I'm still homeless. I'm not sure where the grant money really is going, but I'm homeless, no food help, nothing but a run around from this place. I had to sign a disability form for the program, so really I believe the Americans With Disibilities Act has been violated with my situation.
