5 stars? Not enough! To describe the compassionate help, patience, attention, and financially realistic (because goodness knows new york cremation is normally not!) that Margaret of New Leaf Cremation afforded us in the very difficult process of losing my Dad. There are no end to the positive things I have to say about working with Macken Morturary (not quite as much with the NJ location, which is lovely when you get inside) but the facilities, staff, process, and pricing at New Leaf with Margaret are the bees knees, as Dad would say! If all of what I said wasn't enough, I'll say this: I picked up the planning packet and will be making pre-arrangements for myself there with (cremation at their LI location!) New Leaf was very accommodating during Covid when my son passed. Extremely compassionate and helpful also, all during the process, they communicated with me and explained the details of the process. Their pricing was affordable within my budget.

I don’t know what I would have done without the New Leaf team. In the hectic early days of covid in NYC, the hospital lost my dad’s body. New Leaf took found him, kept me informed, took wonderful care of him and were very kind and compassionate throughout the entire process.

Thank you so much to the staff of New Leaf Cremation staff for their excellent service during a very difficult time. My sister passed away in February 2022 in New York and I needed to handled all the details from Massachusetts. It was a fairly easy process. Follow up was great and all my interactions with the staff effortless. They were the most cost effective service that I was able to find. I will recommend this service without hesitation.
