Great food and good service. The Cookery also has lovely outdoor seating. This place has a number of really healthy options and catered to a ride array of dietary restrictions. My only holdback was with the price. The prices were high by Wisconsin standards.

Oh, the salads are so yummy. I would be a much healthier person, if I were to get these nutritious and tasty salads everyday. Great ambience, pleasent staff, got a touch of history to the whole place. Must try, unique restaurant.

The food and service once arrived was excellent! We had a large group and this was accommodated. My four-star rating has to do with the customer service prior to arriving. Reservations are not taken and I was advised to call an hour prior to arrival to get our name on the list for lunch. I did this and was treated very rudely by the person answering the call - it appeared to be an inconvenience to answer the call and take my information. We almost chose not to follow through with the dining but knew with it being a busy Saturday we shouldn’t chance another place. In the end, glad that we did and it worked out; unfortunate to have the initial contact I did.

Some of the tastiest breakfast food ive had. Great flavorful ham, diced roasted potatoes, homemade cherry jam. Good service. Wish they would serve coffee while waiting. The building burned about 10 years ago. They rebuilt nicely but miss the historical charm.

Food is delicious! I would eat here EVERYDAY if I could! Service is also top notch. Make sure you try the cherry preserves & applesauce.

Our server was so nice! The place is clean and pricing is average. Food was fresh and portions were good. I loved the crab and shrimp cakes.

Spent a wonderful long weekend in Door County. Amazing place! Thought The Cookery would be a great place for a relaxing meal. We called ahead, as they do not accept reservation, doing so saved some waiting time. Service was slow, order came to the table incorrect with no offer of correcting it. The meal was pretty good, but service was not.

Great food, relaxed but upscale atmosphere with fantastic service. My wife and I had been looking for a new restaurant a few years back and went here. Its now a must each time we come up.

I have been going here a long time, since before the fire and reconstruction. I have always enjoyed the menu, the location and the atmosphere. The food has always been good and the staff very friendly. If you're looking for a nice place for a pleasant meal certainly you should check out the Cookery.
