Great spot to grab authentic food on our trips across the state.
Food was great. Staff is very friendly and the place was immaculate.
I personally liked this place. It was open and even if there were a lot of people there it wouldn't feel cramped. I got the steak fajitas. It was delicious and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Great service, wonderful authentic Mexican food, homemade Horchata -wow-!! Friendly personnel and the salsa is really good.
This is the third time I have dined here, and being directly across from a truck stop, I expected the typically entitled attitudes, poor service, and gouging prices. However, simply a little bit of variety is nice regardless. I have been pleasantly surprised though, time after time, with incredibly friendly service, great food, and bargain prices. As a truck driver though, they actually treat me like a human being, which is quite refreshing. I like this place, can't recommend it enough, and look forward to many more meals here in the future.
The fajita salad was delicious. We also tried the sopes, I didn't think the chicken had much flavor so if I tried them again I would get the beef.
Today was a nice day out so i asked if we could eat on the patio. I actually enjoyed coming to el Norteño because my kids can't sit still and are very loud. Out on the patio they walked, ran and i got to enjoy my meal and a good drink
Nice place to eat. Steak mexicano was good. Props on the rice n salsa, it was good. U all know what I'm talking about 😁
HORRIBLE! The worst experience ever. The table got one drink each in an hours time. We asked for refills twice, never got them. Then tables that were seated 30 minutes after us got their food. We never got ours. Other tables that arrived about when we did were also looking for their food. The food I did see on other tables was sub par at best. The bar is great. Open after 4pm. Occasional large parties. Enter on the north side of the building.
Chips thick and chewy. After asking if guacamole had cilantro and seasonings in it and being assured it did, we were brought a bowl of chopped up avocado. Salsa was good. Tea was darker in color than Pepsi and not good. Chicken had zero seasoning on it - not even salt and pepper. Rice undercooked and tasteless. Asked for flour tortillas and never got them. Service generally slow. Restaurant was clean. Should have trusted our instinct when there were only 2 cars in parking lot at lunchtime.
Good food , clean place and friendly staff.
Good food, and good atmosphere. The staff was really slow on taking orders and doing refills, but if you have a little extra time it's not too bad to wait.
