Great food & friendly staff. Fun place to chill and cool environment.
REALLY impressed with this place. I showed up on a weekday around 10 and there wasn't a place to park and a long line. I highly considered coming back another time but really liked the look and wanted to try it out. The patio is awesome with tons of shade and seating. The line moved quickly and I grabbed a great iced coffee and the basic American breakfast. Every bit of the food tasted crazy fresh and was perfectly cooked. I'll be backfrequently. Shudder to think of what the place looks like on a weekend though. Worth it.
Great place, the ambiance was cool and fresh. Their coffees were great too, my new favorite here was their espresso..
Love the food and atmosphere! Cozy coffee shop set around gardens with amazing Cupcakes and other goodies. My favorite breakfast is the San Diegan open-faced omelette. The blended coffee is another favorite.
Breakfast is great! Fantastic drinks. Awesome atmosphere.
Diversity has a charm about it which is true even if we talk about places such as a coffee shop. What first caught my attention was the mix of seating arrangements where the people had to sit wherever they found an empty seat and not necessarily at a table of their own unless if they waited long enough. I ended up at a big table good for at least 8 people joining a college student who was there already but soon enough we were joined by more people including a few other students. The socializing was instant and some future plans were in order. A good idea! The food was fresh and tasty including my choice of Southwestern Chicken and the home made cinnamon roll. The outdoor seating were in the middle of nature and greenaries which had its own attraction, however, the price of items in the menu were a bit at the high side. Service was attentive and kind. An enjoyable dining experience.
Great breakfast at reasonable prices. Good selection of food. Delicious desert treats. Indoor and outdoor seating.
I have been frequenting The Coffee Shop for years. The staff is always helpful, courteous, and as prompt as can be for such a busy (because popular) place. I ask for weird modifications to my coffee and burritos each time I go in, which they accommodate with rare exception. Try the home-made cinnamon rolls – but when they're gone, they're gone!
Good food great atmosphere. Home made salsa goes great with Papas Burrito. Relaxing back patio under the trees in the midst of a huge farm. Community garden across the streets
Pastries are made fresh daily and their cupcakes are award winning .
Upscale - Hipster mecca, complete with a community garden next store that makes for a nice stroll after brunch . The drink selection was a good one, though I wish the matcha I ordered had much more matcha than sugary mixture in it. The burrito I ordered made up for what the matcha lacked. The portions made the prices worth it. They did a good job in draining the grease from the chorizo in my burrito also, so it wasn't disgustingly greasy . Definitely want to come back someday when I visit again from Texas.
The food is good, the quick teas they make behind the counter wasn't as good. I bought a small freshly squeezed juice that was very tasty, but at a 9 dollar price.
The Coffee Shop is the hotel gift shop in the Marriott. I bought coffee and a granola bar. The coffee was fine; not as good as getting it at a real Starbucks, but better than your standard hotel brew. I wouldn't seek out The Coffee Shop, but if you're staying at the Marriott, it's a good option.
Great atmosphere, food and coffee. Nice place to meet friends or just hang out solo. Cool 90's music playing in background - not sure if they play from other decades
I enjoyed a delicious chai tea last night. This is a nice place to sit and enjoy a hot or cold beverage. They serve food here. Joe sure did a nice job turning his family's farm into a food extravaganza. It looks like 'to the west of the coffee shop' they are building another food venue. These people are the epitome of entrepreneurship and food value and creating a sense of community. Impressive. It is fun to watch them develop these new food concepts and social venues. This establishment is so apropos; one of Joe's seminal work was the Coffee Plantation (an organization still in existence today).
