I would say this hotel was just average. Great price and the breakfast was well serviced and warm! The parking is pretty terrible and the jacuzzi was broken but both of those are forgivable. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to someone staying in the Tempe area especially on a budget.

First off the staff was great always friendly with a smile. We booked a couple days here and ended up booking many more nights!!! It is very quiet and just a GREAT place to stay!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Please don't let the outer perimeter fool you. This place is a gem in the rough. The courtyard is a beautiful secure area with a heated pool and a aviary. Small surprises add even more charm. The morning free buffet is above average with a beautiful person tending to all of the customers food needs with a smile on her face. The rooms are kinda dated but our bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower is very nice with all the hot water you'd ever want. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and helpful as well. Short 5 minute drive to downtown Scottsdale. Very reasonably priced rooms. Worth the trip. Don't pass this up unless you enjoy spending over $200 per night.

It's an older hotel located in Scottsdale, but the service is amazing! The rooms are being renovated and it has a lot of charm, including a reading nook, a large chess board, and a bird cage. And the outdoor pool is nice.

This hotel is neat as a pin. Flawless attention to detail. Rooms are comfortable and I always have a generally good feeling when staying there. Staff is top notch as far as being polite, helpful and courteous! Great Job, I will keep coming back and Thank you for the pleasant stays.

The people made my stay, the birds are so peaceful and social, the ground are nice. Fantastic waffles, breakfast is worth eating everyday, very clean. When this place is totally renovated I have to come back just to see how awesome this place is. Recommend to anyone staying around the Scottsdale area.

We've been staying at Papa go Hotel for the last 3 years whenever we're in Tempe. We love it because the staff is always friendly and helpful. The aviary is a unique feature. Also, the hotel has very quiet rooms and the new beds are the most peaceful nights sleep that I ever get. We will keep returning.

This was the most comforting hotel I've stayed at yet. Arrived at about Midnight and was greeted by the night clerk Jimmy, who instantly made us feel welcome and continued to provide great service throughout our stay. The room was very neat and had no problems, and maid service was done before 12pm. Pool was very clean and was a great environment. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to see the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Definitely the most comforting hotel I've seen in Arizona!

The Courtyard Marriott is a smaller hotel, very clean and well apointed with the most friendly and helpful staff. My hats off to Kristy, she made us feel welcome after a long and boring ride. She also gave great recommendations for eateries in Scottsdale. The next morning we had breakfast at Butters resturant. I highly recommend the grits. They are made with heavy cream and butter, very delicious. Grassroots was lunch, shrimp and grits ( yes again) and for dinner and drinks after a show we visited Pig n Pickle. If you are in Scottsdale before Christmas check out the Christmas Motown show at Casino Arizona.

A cozy, clean motel. Nothing fancy but serviceable. Quiet. Non smoking but ashtrays and chairs right outside the rooms. Breakfast included, two hot items plus the usual carbs. Near enough to the airport and Old Scottsdale. Lots of nearby restaurants. Unfortunately, their bar closes at 10.

The location was good, there were a couple of breweries within walking distance. One huge concern was that we found a blood stain on one of the pillows and it was clear it had not been washed at all. The pool was very nice and the bird cage and nearby fountain made it feel like we weren't as close to the road as we were. The breakfast had eggs and bacon, but was otherwise your normal continental breakfast.
