I was so excited to see that The Cat and Fiddle had found a new location. It is one of my all time favorites and I was sad when it closed on Sunset. This place is great. There is outdoor dining like its predecessor, the food is great and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

British style restaurant/ menu, good food, decent service beware the soup is very small. The mac'n'cheese was fantastic. The Brit I was with was dissatisfied with his breakfast, but overall we had a good experience.

Cool spot, laid back. I wish they had more taps, but they have a few good bottles. Nice patio area.

Amazing atmosphere and fantastic food. The staff is personable and friendly. The bar and indoor outdoor restaurant is charming. Like an enchanted garden. With a beautiful vintage stain glass window that was bought over from the original Cat and Fiddle.
Paula Gardner, the owner kept the integrity and the love of the Cat and Fiddle when relocating a year ago.
This is a great place to bring your friends, family or just stop in for some great food and a cold one.
Believe me you won't be disappointed.
    Love, Love, Love this place,
    Jenny D. Foote

Thanks for your hospitality last night! My guest from Barcelona felt truly welcome and leaves California with a big smile. The clam chowder was awesome. So glad that you reopened :-)

Great pub and very friendly service and vibe! I used to go to the old location (and even bought a tshirt). I came here because of the trivia night hosted by Sandro, had an awesome time! The food was good, but the amount of wine in the glass was very small (and pricey, for the quality and the amount). I know I should be drinking beer at a pub, haha. But overall a great pub!

This place was really good. Parking was simple, and all the employees were very kind and helpful. The food was right on point. I had the crab fingers appetizer and the bangers and mash entree. Highly recommended for everyone! Great ambiance too!

The Cat and Fiddle is back! Though we miss the amazing patio of this Hollywood institution's old location, we're just glad to have the fiddle back. The food is just as great as it was and they now have legitimate mushy peas! Only wish they had a better selection of British beers (please bring in London Pride!).

The new location is smaller (we'll miss you Susan Feniger) but it's very comfortable and still has a great outdoor patio. My buddy and I left with ear to ear smiles from a comfort and warmth felt after leaving an old friend's house after a long absence. Well, after visiting the Fiddle, that's exactly what it was.

This is a well known pub/restaurant that was on Sunset for over 30 years and just recently reopened on Highland just a block North of Melrose.

I happened to walk in yesterday and was really impressed with how nice their new place looks. It is spacious with a patio area, 2 bars and cozy interior seating.

The Staff is really professional and treated me great. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and conducive to meeting friends, dates and business.

I was really hungry and started with their Gardner Salad(named after the founder) which was excellent with spinach leaves, roasted corn and cherry tomatoes. My main fish and chips is the best I've had in the area. The dessert, raspberry tart was delicious and even the coffee was single origin from Rwanda called Silverback and purchases help small farmers there.

The drinks I had were amazing-Sprecher root beer from Wisconsin and a Covent Gardens cocktail(vodka, kiwi & fresh lime juice).

I had a great time and this is now my favorite pub/restaurant to unwind and meet friends in the Hollywood area.

There is also Valet parking there.

The patio out here on a Saturday night is gorgeous!

I really liked this place. I came here with a pretty large group of friends because our buddy was leaving to tour Asia. We had ourselves plenty of drinks, and their specialty menu is fantastic. I don't remember what I got, but it was really minty. It was on their custom drink menu and it tasted a lot like a mojito.

The service is really fast and prompt, and my friends who had the food really enjoyed it. I recommend this place! 5 stars!

Cat and Fiddle is a cool little pub in the Hollywood area in LA. The patio out front is awesome when the weather is warm (which is almost always) and the staff is friendly. They have a good selection of English and American beers as well as the typical pub food. Food was decent and the beer was cold. Overall very casual place but great relaxed local spot away from the crowds and tourists.

My girlfriend and I have been exploring the area around our neighborhood, and recently fell in love with this place. The outdoor patio is a perfect place to relax with good food and great drinks. We arrived as the local band was wrapping up, so we could converse comfortably in spite of the large number of guests. We had the fish tacos which were awesome. Dayna, our waitress, was busy so we had to wait a few times for her, but she was friendly and fun. As one other reviewer mentioned, likely this is due to lack of sufficient staffing, so I'm docking one star from an otherwise perfect experience, and I wouldn't blame Dayna personally for the wait.
