Arnold's is a hidden gem in downtown Cincinnati. Live music almost every night. Great selection of beers on tap. We usually eat in the courtyard. It's open air in the warmer months and covered and heated when it's cooler out. The food has always been well prepared, though the menu selections are somewhat limited. Still, there is a little bit of everything on the menu. Several vegetarian choices are offered. Unlike any other venue, Arnold's is a Cincinnati icon, a must try experience.

Arnold’s is a local institution. A bar since 1861, it also is a great restaurant. Live music is available some evenings in the outdoor patio (covered and heated in the winter). It’s a great place for lunch, dinner, or just a drink. If you’re going for lunch expect to be there for a little while, as it tends to be busy and this is not fast food. Be sure to check out the desserts.

Great service, food and drinks with a mellow cafe style ambience. We were highly impressed with the Gluten Free entrees as well.

It may be the oldest, but it is also one of the best!! The food is mouth watering! There is so much delicious-ness on the menu, I have to go back to try more good food. From the book, 100 Things to Do in Cincinnati Before You Die. I agree. I'm glad I didn't miss it.

Excellent burger! The deep fried pretzel is a joke. I feel like they have it on the menu just to see what sucker will actually pay $10 for that. Good music and fun atmosphere. A little pricey.

Have never had food here, but they have a pretty good selection of alcohol and a fun area outback where they often have love music.

Bartender was a pretentious hipster wannabe ass who knew nothing of beer selection and actually ridiculed my Irish friend who asked for a pint, stating that they don't serve "points" and making fun of his accent. Place was sweltering hot on an otherwise cool evening. I've been in Cinci 12 years and this is one of our "must check out" places. We won't go again nor recommend to any or our traveling clients.

A slightly upscale take on barfood that makes things feel nice but still informal. I really liked the fried green tomatoes. The decor is absolutely worth seeing and they have a fun events schedule for the patio so check that out.

The food was so delicious and filling. I was ready for a nap after stuffing my face. The facility itself was very nice and packs a lot of history. The night we went, there was live music that set the mood just right.

This was definitely an interesting place to grab a drink. Our friend decided to have his pre-wedding cocktail hour at Arnold's and rented out the upper floor, telling us only that it was the oldest bar in Cincinnati. When we got there and went upstairs, we could tell it was an interesting place! The upper floor consists of about 5 tiny rooms, all with small tables. Each room was obviously part of an old apartment, as there are still sinks and bath tubs remaining from its previous life. I enjoyed the variety of beer and cocktail choices on the menu. However, because we were such a large party (about 50 people), it was difficult at times to find a waiter and order a drink. When you did, it took a little while to get it sometimes. Also, I was randomly handed a beer I hadn't ordered at one point because our waiter couldn't find the person who had ordered it. I imagine Arnold's would be more enjoyable in a small, less hectic group.

Our waitress was very friendly and the food was very good. Loved the history of the building. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Great bar and menu. They also offer live entertainment which is always enjoyable. The bartenders are cool and our waitress was pleasantly sassy. This place is a great place to eat in downtown Cincinnati.

Great food and great service. Have almost tried all of the craft cocktails, with the bloody Mary so far being my favorite. Heaping portions of food; hamburgers big enough to last you lunch and dinner

A great, local vibe. Local performances, a great liquor and beer selection. Loved by beer & whiskey enthusiasts alike. Great food. Labyrinthine layout & small bathrooms as a note for those requiring accommodations for mobility.

A classic bar full of character and charm, given its age! (It was founded in like, 1862.) The cocktails are crafted with care and the staff are cool and attentive. There's a great selection of local beers, and the bar itself is well stocked with a good variety of liquors. Go for the atmosphere and the locals that frequent it.
