  Service was good considering they only had 2 servers on a Saturday night. Food was so so and the coffee was old and lukewarm at best. For the money I was very disappointed

  Cozy upscale environment . Tastefully decorated for the holidays. Staff was friendly efficient and accommodating. Now let's talk about the food. Oh my. I ordered the steak. Perfection juicy and tender I order mine well done with no hint of life . It's hard to present a juicy tender flavorful well done steak but they did it and they did it well. The bread basket is almost as good as the steak . That usually doesn't say much for the steak bit in this case it says alot about the bread . Chocolate cake for dessert . Yummy yummy . But the coffee ice cream I stole a bite of might be my next choice. Try this restraint soon.

  Went to the Caroline on a Saturday night for my husband's birthday. I called a few weeks in advance to make reservations and they told me they didn't take reservations but that they would put my name on the list. However that works, idk, but we got there, our name was on the list and we were seated right away. Our server was really nice. Our food was great and service was fast. They also overheard me say something about my husband's birthday a d they surprised him with a dessert (with a candle 😊) that was on the house. Great experience

  Good food and service. Nice atmosphere. Dessert was delicious; we had Apple pie ice cream and creme brulee.

  My husband enjoyed his steak. They were out of the IPA he wanted. The bourbon mushrooms were too salty. My salad was average. The menu is limited. The waitress was attentive and kind. My biggest dislike was that there was only one unisex bathroom closer to the outdoor patio section. It reeked of urine. Deal breaker for me.

  I enjoyed my meal in the outdoor seating area. I had the house steak. Very very good! One of the better steaks I've had in a long time. They didn't have the beer I wanted on tap, but that happens all the time. Nice local place.

  My husband and I LOVE, love, LOVE The Caroline. The food is ALWAYS delicious. The servers have always been knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. We were pleased with our most recent experience of hosting our son's and fiance's rehearsal dinner at the Caroline. It surpassed our expectations. The two servers were so very cheerful and attentive. Very organized, and they took our order and got our food out in a very reasonable timeframe. Everything was scrumptious! I worked with Barb Kolter in making all the arrangements for the evening. She was very patient and accommodating. We had an absolutely WONDERFUL rehearsal dinner. In fact, my husband and I are returning tonight for an anniversary dinner together! I can't say enough great things about The Caroline! Keep up the great job!

  This is a family run place with a well deserved reputation in greater Dayton. They offer a trendy up to date American cuisine, serving lunch and dinner. They have a trendy cocktail , classic spirits and beer offering. It is easy to find and has a great view of the main Troy, ohio traffic circle.

  I cannot say enough good about The Caroline! Excellent food, service and wine list. We have friends that drive 60 miles to eat here. I have eaten in the finest restaurants in New York, Chicago, London, and Los Angeles and i must say, The Caroline is right up there! We recommend it all the time as "the best restaurant in Troy!"

  Very good food and terrific service. We unknowingly came in a half hour before closing and we're still seated and treated very well. We were a party of 6, and all were pleased.

  Ate there with my wife this week. We ordered a nice bottle of wine (1/2 price on Wed) and bourbon mushrooms. My meal was the Caroline burger with blue cheese and Brussel sprouts. My wife had the black & blue salad.
  
  It was all fabulous! It was spot on! And the service was great!
  
  I'd highly recommend the Caroline!
