Been a few times and love the space for the family to play. Reminds me of a park in areas. But we wish there were more exhibits and clearer identifications with the map.

The zoo is usually a place just for kids. This zoo has a bit for everyone , young and old. The animals are amazing. Everyone that goes here will have a great time. Just be careful what time you come because it can be a good time or rush hour and parking could be a problem. The price of admission is pretty on par or even cheaper then some other zoo's. I would definitely recommend this zoo for anyone looking for a fun time.

What a great place to walk around on a sunny day. It’s like taking you kids to the part except their large and small animals there. The staff there are very nice and helpful. Membership fees are definitely worth the price. Taking our friends, family, and out of town guests there is always a treat that they never forget.

It's a little over priced, but they have an amazing military discount (50% off the regular price) and I know the member rate is extremely fair if you will be going frequently. It's always very clean and they have a pretty big variety of animals and things to do. I easily spent 4 hours there today with my daughter and we didn't even see everything.

The Buffalo Zoo has beautiful grounds and was pleasant for a fall walk. It was a huge disappointment to our group of three as unbeknownst to us, many of the mammals were not in their habitats due to work being done to some roofs. I was surprised this was not indicated on their website. No lions, tigers, lynx, or ocelots, to name just a few I had hoped to see. Had we been aware of the situation, we would have postponed our visit. To pay full price and see less than half the animals was a let down.

Hope I am able to come back sometime and see the animals I missed today.

We had a wonderful time today. The lions came right up to the window, the polar bear enjoyed showing off, and so did the otters! My grandsons were excited to be there.

Small place but love taking my kids here. Price is good. Only downfall is they need more food vendors.

We went on Labor Day weekend with discounted tickets so the experience was worth it, lots of traffic to get in though, waited about 45 minutes outside in traffic. There were decent number of lions, elephants, giraffes & gorillas. But other than that lots of empty cages. I would have been disappointed if we had paid full price for tickets.

It really isn't a bad zoo definitely plenty of exhibits and things to see. They have birds roaming about. A very decent experience. Not sure if it's all zoos but the animals sometimes look extra sad here. Maybe it's just Buffalo lol!

I enjoy taking my two girls to the Buffalo Zoo. They love seeing the animals and it doesn't take a full day to see everything. I have been a Zoo member for the past 3 years, and the membership is always worth it since we go 7 or 8 times a year. The recent additions of the arctic edge exhibits are very nice, and I'm glad to see the zoo trying to revamp its habitats for the animals. There is still work to be done, as the gorillas and elephants can use some better accommodations.

An interactive display of animals. All exhibits allowed you to see the animals either in an indoor display or outdoor exhibit. The park was very clean and well organized.

It's a great zoo. Lots of animals. The staff is helpful and they know what they're doing. If you go make sure to check out the rainforest exhibit.

Excellent zoo for months of February and March they are only five dollars per person. Regardless when you are visiting they have many interesting exhibits including giraffes, rhinos, elephants and others. Friendly staff.

Wonderful old zoo with modern updates! Perfect size for a young family to navigate. Wonderfully warm tropical rain forest and chilly cool Arctic exhibit. There are usually baby animals in attendance.

This Zoo is simply fantastic. First time in Buffalo, and I truly enjoyed it. While it was winter, and a big snowfall had just hit, lots of animals were available outside to see, and there were also various indoor sections for people to see. The area is very nice to walk, and while a lot of the playgrounds were shut down, I would imagine if it was summer, it would be much more popular and kid-friendly. Regardless, your family will enjoy coming here, without a doubt. The parking lot is massive, and the souvenir shop is big with variety of choices. I also believe they accept both US and Canadian currencies (do not quote me on that!). One thing I wouldn't really recommend is the food there which were mediocre. My favourite part was seeing the tiger, and the baby chimpanzees which were SUPER adorable! A really nice place to enjoy as a person, couple, or family!
