It is smaller scale than other presidential homesites we have visited. But I learned things about Woodrow Wilson and history that I did not previously know. If you are a history buff you will enjoy it. Our tour leader was excellent. Video beforehand was well done. It took about an hour. Was very relaxed, not uptight that you might touch something.

My 11 year son loves history, so since we are now living in Augusta it’s a great thing to do just walk around and sight see.

Tours on the hour. The docents are passionate and knowledgeable. Very well-restored house, and because it's his boyhood home, the tour focuses entirely on his childhood and family, not on his presidency. It's not only a great museum but a wonderful place to learn about the history of Augusta.

It was interesting to learn more about Woodrow Wilson and see how a home would be furnished at that time.

What I enjoyed was the story of how wounded Confederate Soldiers were hospitalized and treated near Woodrow Wilson home and how seeing the soldiers pain and misery shaped his attitude towards war. Great tour.
