Wonderful resource: museum, gallery and gift store! Amazing art library open during the week (items are non circulating) and the museum is free on Sundays! A must see for any visitors to the area 😊

Certainly not a great collection, but it's nothing bad either. The fact that it is free on Sunday's is a huge bonus. A good way to view some art and spend a few hours on a weekend afternoon.

Nice art museum. Only $5 for adults. It's right next to the river which makes for a nice walk afterwards. My husband and I enjoyed it.

It was very educational. My 11 year old grandson learned about art, the history of art and history through the paintings and sculptures.

Everyone should support art galleries and museums. Too much is done vicariously through the internet. Not the best collection, but not the worst. The worst collection I have seen is the one in Los Angeles.

I had the pleasure of visiting this museum on the opening of Marty Stuart's "American Ballads" exhibit on Sept 9 and I must say that I fell in love with the Morris Museum. The layout and the permanent exhibits are top notch and the staff (& volunteers) were simply some of the nicest people I have ever met. I visited Augusta this time primarily for the Stuart exhibit (& his concert afterward), but I must say that at some point I will return again to Augusta and when I do, another trip to my new favorite museum will be on my agenda. Highly recommend this excellent facility.
