I cut my teeth in this book store! It's still a wonderful experience today. The atmosphere and management are top notch. Love it!

WILL NOT HONOR THEIR GIFT CERTIFICATES, claiming "That was the old owners, we'd loose money honoring those gift certificates!" Well, when you buy a business you are aware of the assets AND liabilities, if you don't ask then you're a fool. The young man running the register delivered the verdict after asking his mommy who was hiding in the back, she obviously isn't inclined to do her own dirty-work. So I'm out $52.18 of paperbacks I brought in that the gift certificate represented, they are out very long-term customer. It's not the same store that it used to be, avoid this place if integrity is important to you

What you would expect and love in a small town book store. A great part of a historic town. Owner Liz Sinclair is wonderful.
