The room I stayed in was wonderful. The bathroom was just redone and it was wonderful. The 24 hr store in the lobby was very convenient, but the sandwich I bought there was stale and inedible. For $6, you'd think they'd have higher quality of food. The lobby restaurant was convenient but only had bar snacks after 10pm so it wasn't convenient enough.

Everyone here is super friendly cordial staff and guest. They are also very helpful I give it a five stars because to me it's like being in the Ritz . So close to the River 😚

Really considerate staff. I was staying with my young son after the storm since we lost power. The front desk agent was incredibly sweet and interacted with my son during check in. The manager was helpful to find the pool and make suggestions for dinner, and the maintenance man who was cleaning up debris offered to take our luggage cart for us. The hotel itself is located in a great part of the city, and you can walk along the riverwalk. The rooms all have a great view. The staff makes you feel like you're at a 5 star hotel!

I absolutely loved the Barrymore! We evacuated our home during the impending Hurricane Irma, and the staff was amazing, even during these very stressful times. Many patrons also had their pets, so the place was packed with dogs as well. If the staff and hotel can be this amazing during a state of emergency, then who knows how awesome they are during normal times. I highly recommend the Barrymore!

I absolutely have no complaints about this Hotel. We spent a few nights here while we were up at Tampa General awaiting our sons surgery. They were very accommodating to our family and situation. They volunteered one of their very nice banquet rooms so we could get the rest of the family together privately for some food and beverages. They checked on us periodically, and took care of every one of our needs. We would like to thank Miss Linda , Miss Octavia and , Miss Krystal. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it for a clean and above friendly atmosphere.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. They had our room ready early. There are shuttles to and from everything, including the airport, convention center, cruise port, hospital, and other spots. The hotel is located within walking distance of lots of restaurants, if you don't want to eat at Water Works, the bar and restaurant just off the lobby. It's right on the river walk and close to the Port, for cruises. We got a very reasonable rate on the room too.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around
Whoever runs their HR does a great job. Extremely friendly staff all over the hotel. Very accommodating. Sure the rooms are a bit old and could use some updating, but for the price you really can't beat this place. It has good food, but don't be in a rush to get! The atmosphere is good, but a bit aged. It is nicely located next to the Performing Arts Theater and the Tampa Boardwalk.

The location was great, some views were better than others from the rooms. I had a friend in another room that over looked the bay, was beautifu. I asked to be changed to another room had to pay but was worth it. the bathrooms (remodeled) were very nice even though they did not, in no way match the rooms. I felt like the bathrooms should of been in a higher rated hotel, On the other hand the beds were disgusting in both rooms somthing I always check. Besides being uncomfortable they were nasty looking And yes I took off the bed bug cover to make sure. In the end I just slept on the floor being it was only a day on business.

Whoever runs their HR does a great job. Extremely friendly staff all over the hotel. Very accommodating. Sure the rooms are a bit old and could use some updating, but for the price you really can't beat this place. Rooms are extremely clean, and the hotel is in a very good central location.
