We had an absolutely perfect wedding day. The owner was very helpful in getting our reception area perfect. Everything flowed very well, the day of coordinator they provide on site the day of is very helpful. The LKN caterers provided amazing food and service. The coordinator was a little intense in the weeks before the wedding insisting on counts multiple times before they were actually due per the contract. Also the bar vendor could not be reached unless going through the coordinator, which led to some confusion and we were unable to get a phone number to call the Bar company directly. We did have to request our security deposit multiple times. The contract is mostly for you to follow, I think the vendor kind of goes by what they want to do. But we had a beautiful wedding day regardless.

Very nice place for an event or wedding. Kind of you typical wedding/event venue, nothing to extraordinary, nice, but if rather something more unique.

I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here. I got married back in January. The venue is gorgeous even in the winter and a perfect location for wedding photos. The owner was very helpful and very patient with us as my fiance and I had a ton of questions before booking. He went over the contract with us in detail. The venue supplies seating up to a certain amount of people which saved us a lot of money. Other venues we looked at didn't include this. Good selection of vendors as well. We ended up going with Lake Norman Catering which was a great choice. Everyone at the wedding raved about the food. All in all we couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out. The staff at the Arbors was nice and very accommodating. We always felt like we had what we needed and on the day of our wedding this allowed us to be able to relax and just enjoy ourselves.

When I started the process with the Arbors I was so excited and things were going well! I was working with one girl the whole planning process. After a few months, I was informed that particular employee was no longer working there. I started working with a new girl. To my surprise, I started getting different prices to rent items I had already been told from the previous employee and had verification in emails. The new employee was trying to charge me double for items I had already budgeted for based on THE ARBORS EMPLOYEES. So I called the owner. HUGE MISTAKE. He was the most disgusting, most rude person I had ever spoken to. He basically told me to "deal with it" and "it's the price of inflation" even though I told him I had emails that stated different prices. He was raising his voice at me talking to me like I was a total idiot for having these concerns. I've never been spoken to the way he spoke to me that day. He told me "the email could've just been a typo" To go rent the items somewhere else. I told him he was ruining my experience all together and he laughed and replied with "oh I'm ruining your wedding over a couple hundred dollars." He was awful. I hung up the phone and just cried and was shaking after being talked to that way. This was my wedding. I was just trying to do what was right and be fair since I had been given such different prices in the beginning. I was shocked. Disappointed. I thought as "an owner" he would do the right thing and at least be "kind" to his customer paying over $10,000 to get married there. Nope. I asked for a copy of my contract which they never would or did send me.

Other than The owner, Brian, speaking to me like I was an incompetent child, the rest of the staff and venue was wonderful. He made me want to not get married there just out of pure shock and awe that someone could be so horrible, but thankfully it all turned out OK and I really tried not to let him ruin my day. My advice is if you want to get married here, be prepared to have them sneak all kinds of hidden charges on you, try your best to NOT deal with the owner or question one thing or one price, or you may be in for a rude awakening. If I could do it over again, I would not give this man our hard earned money after he was so incredibly disrespectful to me as a customer and a Bride!
