I always love browsing at this store - it inspires my own creativity. Most items are out of my price range, however, way back when I bought my daughter an awesome Balenciaga cargo bag for a bargain price. The jewelry is creatively curated and awesome, as are the shoes and purses. I also love their intriguing selection of luxury cosmetics. They used to have free tampons in the ladies room - although that's a thing of the past. This is a beautiful store that I greatly enjoy, albeit primarily for window shopping.

Rude kiss your ass type employees. They genuinely don’t care about you unless you’re spending over 1,000+. Selection is so underwhelming you’ll find better pieces at Sak’s fifth. As far as garments they have some nice pieces and the ambience is pleasant.

Purchased $1200 in merchandise on a Sunday to have shipped from Chicago to Milwaukee the next day. Called Wednesday to get update-30 minutes on hold with no answer. Called Thursday and was promised a call back with an answer within 30 minutes. Never received a call. Called Friday to speak with a manager. Over an hour later received return call stating package JUST shipped Thursday and would receive by Saturday! No apologies or anything. TERRIBLE SERVICE. No wonder online competition is shutting down retail stores that have such poor customer service. Never would have expected this from Barney's. IF package ever arrives, I will immediately send back for refund. Complete waste of my time. Back to online shopping!

I had a GREAT experience with Kelvin. He's a manager down at the handbags and was truly a great help. He put so much time and effort into helping me return my bag that I actually enjoyed spending time there. Great great great employee!

Walked into this place & my fiancé & I weren't greeted until we got to the 4th floor where there were a few other blacks. Everyone else just looked at us turned up their noses & continued about their day! First & last time here! Awful experience!

One of the finer establishments I encountered while visiting Chicago. Quite elegant. Some of the prices were lower than other Barneys stores I have visited, which bothered me to some extent. I come to Barneys to rack up my credit card, and when the prices are lower, that means I have to buy more (which takes up more of my extremely valuable time). I tried inquiring with one of the associates to see what it would take to rent out the building (because I am visiting again later this summer and admire the location), and they scoffed at the idea. Excuse me Sir, but you don't know me, and when I asked to speak to the owner of the building, they thought I was joking. I suppose I will just stick to visiting Barneys for what it is, a lower-end boutique shopping experience.

This is probably one of the best Barneys New Yor around. They always have different items than other Barneys New Yor and their prices are lower than others for some reason, maybe necause of the area. Even when Im not shopping Ill take a stroll w my daughter just to get out of the house if its too hot. I always end up gettiing her aittlw something, lol!!

arguable the best barney's branch out there. smaller, but curated extremely well. staff is refreshingly down-to-earth and very helpful. the building is also beautiful. very pleasant shopping experience.
