Very good 'Belgium' style waffle where clusters of sugar are infused into the batter. FYI, the waffles are not huge but are smaller hand-held size. If you are looking for a filling breakfast, I recommend the chicken and waffle
We happen to get a sample of the waffles and they were so good we had to get a 4 pack to take home! I wish we would have gotten more. Very friendly staff.
Was in town for a Bob Seger concert that was postponed and decided to check out the North Market for our first time. Very friendly staff and food is amazing. You should be prepared to wait in a small line, because it's that good! Don't walk away without your waffle and chicken.
I have been a regular customer of this place until today. I usually stop by once or twice a week to get some waffles. However, during the past few weeks my waffles have been under done and they taste like dough instead of the crunchy waffles they serve. I also try to get a 4-pack today but And asked that they pack the fresh waffles into a 4-pack and the lady at the counter refused to do it telling me that she would have to charge me extra. She wanted to charge me for each waffle instead of giving me the 4-pack price. It didn't make any sense to me so that was my last time coming to this place. I hope the store manager reads this review and trains their employees to be more polite and to make better decisions when interacting with regular customers.
Best Waffle I have ever had! I had the banana and Nutella waffle. So good! Highly recommend!
I feel like this place may deserve more stars, but for my quick pick-up of a 4 pack of waffles I am left a little disappointed. I would like to stop in and try some additional menu items, but as an out of towner this is all I could do for this first trip. I expected more of a yeast liege waffle made with pearl sugar that turns the outside into a sweet caramelized shell when it cooks. These waffles were a little dry, dense and not as sweet as expected. Maybe we got a bad batch, but they all looked pretty similar when I picked them up at the counter.
Our son brings these delicious waffles home to Cleveland every holiday. They are scrumptious AND freeze nicely. We loved the gingerbread ones at Christmas!
I wandered around the market for a little while and settled on this place because of the lack of line. DO NOT LET THAT SCARE YOU. The food was really good. I liked the denseness of the waffle and the crispiness and flavor of their fried chicken. They also offer crepes and frites!
Was a bit confused that this place was it's separate store-front, however it's in the north market! In a booth in itself, you can find the bright yellow sign that says "Taste of Belgium". We came by here pretty early and we were one of the guy's first customers. What a good choice we made by stopping by here to have the chicken and waffle as well as the waffle with turkey. The chicken and waffle piece of chicken was SO SO SO delicious. The sweetness of the syrup and the hot sauce were made in heaven together. It made the chicken so delectable and I truly wanted more. My turkey waffle was interesting. It was like a turkey sandwich with two piece of waffle that sandwiched it together (it was one piece split in half). Not too much of a fan of the TB Latte that has orange flavoring in it though.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and delicious food. This place has it all. I highly recommend a weekend visit for breakfast, but get there early because they get busy! (The waffles are amazing!)
The veggie crepe was disgusting. I've had savory crepes before and they really over did it with the spreadable cheese and balsamic vinegar. The spinach was old and brown. Not to mention the service was horrible. I've had their waffles before and was highly unimpressed as well. It's a waffle it can't be that hard to make! The two guys working were super rude and were annoyed that I was ruining their conversation with my $10 crepe order. My bad!!! There are so many other wonderful places at north market, just keep walking. Trust me!
