This really was the highlight of my trip to Midway during spring break. This little restaurant is amazing. It's a Restaurant and Cantina for adults. At the restaurant they have a wide selection of Mexican Cuisine. The best part was the unlimited chips and salsa bar. The alcohol is brewed in house and the staff is very friendly. I got the chicken and steak fajitas and they were to die for. The kids meals are cheap and all around this place is a must. Especially if you have kids.

Wonderful Mexican good and service and such a good place for kids and large groups. There isn’t much to eat in midway so it’s great that this place is there and provides a sit down experience with lots of options. I got the steak fajitas and was happy. You have to try not to get filled up in chips with all the amazing salsas that are available. I would recommend stopping by if you only have a few days in Midway

This place has such a cool atmosphere and the food is top notch, I highly recommend visiting the salsa bar. The owners are fantastic and the service is fast and friendly. In my opinion the remodel of the Cantina really enhances the experience. It’s also really cool that they have live music on the weekends. I’ll keep coming back again and again.

Excellent Mexican good and margaritas! 5 star service. We went in on a Saturday night and it was getting quite busy. The owner, Andrew, noticed we had not ordered drinks yet and he came over to our table and made sure we were taken care of. He asked Stephanie, who was in another section to make sure we were served without delay. She was great, with good food recommendations and she was very attentive to our table. We loved the salsa bar and our food was really good. Can't wait to go back!

I have loved this place in the past. Loved the many different unique salsa options at the salsa bar. However, the new ownership is only making around 6-8 of them, and the focus is much more on the bar scene.

When we arrived at 5:45pm, we we're told there were no tables available, but we could sit at the bar. We did so, but soon noticed that many of the tables were just reserved, and had reservation signs for 8:30, 9 and 7:30. I watched him turn away five couples when they definitely could have given up the reserved tables knowing the tables would turn many times between then and when they were needed for the reservation. They definitely lost money on that.

Service at the bar was okay, not fast. Excellent foodso I hope they figure out some of these annoyances before the only crown going is the older bar crowd. Nothing wrong with that, but most of them sat around talking and didn't reorder, so even on the bar tab, they couldn't have had a stellar revenue night.

Tarahumara is the best Mexican restaurant in Midway! They have the best salsa bar EVER!! Their cilantro dressing is way better than Cafe Rio! Every time I go here I get the steak fajita meal and it's the best! The presentation is perfect, the flavor is exquisite and the staff are friendly! Never fails to put a smile on my face, amazingly smells in my nose, and yummy food in my belly!

Very dark, food was ok. Staff was busy talking with one another. We waited over 20 minutes before getting a menu and another 20 minutes to have our order taken. Great company and conversation or we would have left.

My husband and I ate lunch here while on our honeymoon at Zermatt. They have a serving bar with a ton of sauces and salsas and it was so good. After our amazing lunch we went next door to their bakery and chatted with the owner for a bit, he was a way nice guy! I would definitely recommend the tres leches! Food was fresh, atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

The service was a little slow on the Cantina side.!
The food was good/a nice change..!!
It was a very clean place.
They have a large outside patio that is nice! No flies..I was impressed.

There must have been 30 salsa styles at the salsa bar!!!
    I found my favorite..

    I would definitely go back!!!

Great food, but the most horrible service I've ever experienced dining out.

We ate here on 7/21. We were seated by the hostess, and a food runner brought chips and water to the table at that time. After longer than ten minutes without being greeted by a server, I found the hostess who had seated us and told her that we were ready to order, but that we had not seen our server. She came by a couple of minutes later and took our order. The section we were seated was not busy, so there is no reasonable excuse for the absence of the server to this point.

The food was delicious, and after completing the meal, I went and found the hostess again to let her know that we were ready for the check. The hostess who "served" us was awesome, but the server was an absentee. We passed the hostess a tip, paid our check, and left.

How does a family complete an entire meal without seeing a server?

Fantastic salsa bar! The restaurant gets very busy for lunch and dinner, so we usually try to visit on off hours. The mahi-mahi tacos are incredible.

Food was good. They have a salsa bar that you can go get what ever salsa you want but they didn't even have just a plain salasa. But other than that the food was good.

This was an amazing place to eat. The man who took our order was friendly and knowledgeable. After ordering he infromed us of the salsa bar. The salsa bar is described as "vast", and i absolutely agree. They noticed we were enjoying the salsa and put some extra chips in the bag for us. The chips were free but the gesture was very nice.

Went for our anniversary 4/28/2017, must have changed ownership. Waiter was polite but when the food came out the server couldn't speak English got the orders mixed up, the food was cold, served on plastic plates, when the last time we were there the food was served on hot ceramic plates. The taco's had no lettuce or cheese, enchiladas were bland, small, no cheese and no sauce. extremely disappointing. We used to love going there for dinner but not again. Would have got a better dinner at a fast food dive through. PC and KC
