Stayed up here for a quick weekend trip in preparation for some bikepacking activity. Sites are nicely equipped, but a little small. Good location for FSU tailgating.
Only two public cabins with toilet/washbasin/shower for male and female - no windows = stuffy and hot and occupied when you need it.. Not enough for this huge campground. Staff very friendly and helpful, except for one, who did not have a friendly smile or wave even once in three days. Close to I-10. Publix across the street. Walmart 3 M down the road. For passing through and only spending one night okay. We will not go back there. We loved Tallahassee the city. To the City we will return.
Very helpful in a difficult time and accommodating. Stayed up late while we were trying to get there from Mississippi after escaping FL from Hurricane Irma then to come back for my sister's unexpected funeral. They even lead us to our spot and pointed out the utilities and where to park my car. Amazing people.
Very tight spaces and your so close to your neighbors you feel everything. Also it says dog friendly but your pets can't be outside on a lead or in a fence. They have to stay by your side or in the camper. Not very kid friendly as they don't have a playground. Good for retirees and a one night stop. Wouldn't want to camp here long with kids or my dogs. However, very clean.
Love this little park. Close to groceries, restaurants and site seeing. Sites are very narrow, but we love it anyway. Have stayed here numerous times. Don't miss the auto museum just down the street. More than autos.
The owners of this park genuinely care! Things are getting better and better thanks to them. We stay frequently and find it to be a quiet, clean, great example of a well-kept RV park.
Good access for a 40' w. toad, no overgrown bushes or under trimmed tree branches. One tight turn at far left end (with warning sign to swing wide) was very doable. Helpful staff with good pull through sites for easy overnights, and close freeway access which might explain the high number of overnight stays. Good utility placement for fifths or trailers. Motorhome with toad will need to run a garden hose sewer adapter (grey water only), or unhook since sewer is at back of site. Gravel parking is slightly over sloped, so boards helpful. Two weeks costs same as a month. Quiet area with good access to shopping. Full time sites are minimal, and those who are fulltime seem to have well maintained rigs. Would definitely stay here as needed.
What a wonderful RV park! Stopped in for one night driving from La to Key West. Super clean, very shady and EASY after hours checkin. Plus pull through sites make coming in after dark easy. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful campground with friendly staff! Excellent WiFi signal too! Highly recommended for a short or long stay!
I highly recommend this RV park, they are very accommodating and truly caring. I am staying a month to help my daughter with newborn twins and additionally have experienced other family challenges, making their hospitality even more greatly appreciated. The park is clean with easy pull through sites. Choose this park and you will not regret your decision.
