Very convient as a resort guest AND the food was very good. We had chardonnay with rosemary chicken and beet salad. The great deal on both taste and cost is the holiday special pastry dessert buffet. All you can eat and take with you, but maker sure you taste each of the many pies, cakes, torts, Capra cookies.

This fairly large restaurant includes a full bar and a private room. The food is good, but as others mention, dinner and brunch is over priced. There are minimal vegetarian options here. Brunch is a forced buffet, locked at $29 for adults and $15 for ages 6-12. This means if all you want is a small fruit bowl for brunch and you're an adult, you're paying $29. The staff are wonderful, accommodating and proactive. It gets very busy here, so reservations in the evening, especially during holidays, is strongly recommended.

Service-Bad, Chicken Pot Pie-$24 for cream of chicken soup covered with a chewy croissant, no chicken. Sent it back. Not going back.

The service was slow and the food wasn't bad but way over priced for what I ordered. There was barely even anyone in the restaurant it doesn't make any sense why the service took as long as it did and for only one dish! The slow service wouldn't have bothered me as much if the waiter would have at least acknowledged the fact that it was taking a substantial amount of time but no apologies or exclamations were ever given for or long wait.

I used to love this place. In fact, i used to actually work at the La Quinta resort and would come here several times a week. Even after i moved away from La Quinta, it was a tradition to come out here every winter and come to the Twenty6 for the amazing hot chocolate that was served with the homemade marshmallows and espresso.

It was extremely sad to drive out here only to learn that a "cut in budget" has reduced this down to a cup of hot milk with some Swiss powder in it. I didn't bother to look and see what else was changed, but from what I've heard, its not too impressive.

I understand loss of profit and this all may seem trivial, but wow, most dissappointing cup of hot chocolate i have ever had in my entire life. Our bill still ended up being $50 for each of us to have one cup, plus two orders of fries. Absolutely ridiculous, tradition ruined, never coming back and never recommending anyone else again. Great service though, bump up a star for the hostesses and server.

My boyfriend and I came last year for their amazing hot chocolate, and this year, I was so excited to come and have it again. To my disappointment, when we came tonight to get our chocolate with steamed milk, espresso, and homemade marshmallows, we were told budget cuts had been made, and they now only have hot chocolate packets. It literally tasted like hot milk. The only reason I'm giving two stars is for the great service.
