The service was great. Very helpful staff. They split the check for our large group. Great atmosphere for social get togethers. It is a bit pricey.

TRATA is a go-to for me during any occasion. Business lunch, family in town, date night, drinks with friends, etc. The food is high class without being overly fancy or complicated, wide variety for any picky eaters or allergies. HUGE venue with lots of tables, casual seating, and 3 bars. LOVE the rooftop bar and try to get out there as much as possible during warm summer nights.

Atmosphere is cool. Had the burnt chicken and biscuits with cold gravy. Service was good. I don’t think I would come back for the food.

The interior decor is very nice, everything seems upscale and well done. The food is excellent and they have an amazing selection of beer on tap. The only negative was it was a bit too cold, and I kept my jacket over my shoulders the whole time.

I went to celebrate my friend's birthday. The food was amazing and really well priced. The atmosphere was really lively and the restaurant was clean and well-kept. We can't wait to go back!

We went there for dinner with some out-of-town guests. The atmosphere and food was very good. But we were on the first floor and it was quite noisy and hard to hear other people at our table. From what others have told me you need to call and at least the second for the balcony where it's quieter. Our server was wonderful our food was great, little pricey so we will be saving it for special occasions.

I went for brunch. The meals are on the pricier side and smaller.

The food is worth the price. Eggs Benedict were poached perfectly. Pork belly was average. My wife had the huevos rancheros and She was very impressed. Again, it was on the smaller side though.

    Atmosphere is great.

Came here for my birthday dinner last night and everything was excellent! The waitress was friendly and attentive and our food came quickly- especially for our large party. One of the things that stood out the most was that I ordered a veggie burger and was able to substitute lettuce for a bun- but it was not just a slice or two of limp lettuce(like most restaurants) it was an abundant wedge of lettuce that really made up for no bun! As a veggie monster I SO appreciated this!

Great place. Drinks are great. The service was really good. Didn't love the menu but it was a Sunday. Certainly no reason to give them less than 5 stars.

We really enjoyed this place my family is particular about food and we liked everything we tried. Hot dogs - awesome. Pasta salad - awesome. Onion rings - outrageous.

The building is cool, but the service and food are not great. They seem to think you can make a dish interesting by adding one unexpected ingredient - like raspberry in a cheese dip. That sounds good in theory, but in practice you wind up just wanting cheese dip. Two people in my group did enjoy their fish tacos, but you can get better for cheaper elsewhere

Greeted at the door for our party of 4 at 630 and escorted to our table. Place is very clean. Staff is well trained and knowledgeable. Our waitress Sarah did a wonderful job of explaining items on the menu and the nightly specials. Time spacing of food was good food taste excellent and plating was great. This restaurant changes their menu periodically which is a nice touch.

I have been coming to TRATA since it opened. By far my favorite place to dine in the Rochester area, as many of the staff now know me by name with my frequency there. I have even hosted events in their lounge area and recommend to all of my guests visiting the Rochester area at the hotel I manage.

Often I'm asked why I love TRATA so much, and I always say the same thing- The food, the atmosphere, and the service. The great quality of food has stayed consistent, along with the positive and welcoming atmosphere. The overall aesthetic and decor is something similar to what you would find in large cities like New York or LA.
I also know I can always count on the staff to be friendly and approachable.

For example, there's a bartender named Kirsten from California who has been there since I started going there years ago. She is truly the epitome of great Customer Service. Every time I have ever seen her working (which again has been many times) she has been friendly and smiling, never letting a guest feel forgotten or unwelcome. She is always so knowledgeable of the menu items! I have her to thank for my favorite brunch meal there; the chicken and waffles as she suggested it a while back and now it's my go-to on Sunday's!

Thank you TRATA and thank you Kirsten for continuing to provide such amazing experience each and every time I visit!
