Good basic Chinese food at a very reasonable price in a nice old-fashioned atmosphere. This is my favorite Chinese place in Manchester I would rate the food more highly if they had an expanded menu or had updated it more. What they do they do well.
They still remember me from years ago and have decent food for the price.
I don't mean to be rude but they were very friendly and everything but nothing tasted good egg drop soup was good though
Seated by waitress ordered food and while waiting we wanted to get a drink, she was not coming back to our table I had to get up and go to the front to get another menu and then get a kitchen staff attention to order a drink. Then half of my boyfriends food came out first (crab Rangoon not cooked enough and beef Terayki way over cooked) and I was waiting for mine and the rest of his food for 20 minutes and then we asked where the food was. They apologize and brought us plates but still no food. After waiting about a half hour we told them never mind we would like to leave because the food we did get was horrible and I hadn't gotten anything yet! The only good thing is they only made us pay for the drink. Very disappointed as people were highly recommending this place. Won't be eating here again.
Worst food I had here. I was not even greeted, it looked like the young boy was having a rough day. It was mad expensive for a Chinese cuisine. I can get cheaper food at most Chinese places. Plus their food was just slimy and not even cooked nicely. i I got chicken and broccoli and it was as if the HOT BURNING sauce was just poured over and that was it. Lol great owner though, he was very nice to me.
Hands down the best "Chinese" food in Manchester.
Been going here for almost 30 years and have never been dissatisfied.
Awesome Mai Tai's
Definitely not friendly. Was greeted with scowl and just got weird vibes from this people. This was around noon. I've came here twice and have been greeted with the same type of behavior twice and that's why I decided not to order from here twice too simple as that.
It's not much of a good looking place anyways looks run down from outside and is only slightly better in the interior. However it is the customer service aspect they seem to be lacking on, as I said didn't order food from them and the reason is the general attitude I got from this people when I walked in, I don't plan on going there again anyways.
There are many other places in Manchester to order from so why deal with their rude behavior. In the future I advise the front end staff to at least greet a customer with a smile, or hire somebody who is able to do otherwise nobody wants to put up with your attitude for the type of mediocre food you probably offer, I wouldn't know how it tastes anyways since I chose to take my business elsewhere.
We've been patrons for 24 years. Food has been consistently good, great service. Children have grown and frequent Szechuan as adults. Szechuan is our choice for Asian cuisine in Manchester.
The best food in town. Nothing compares. Might be a little more expensive then other places but they don't have the quality. The sauce is out of this world. I got the sesimi chicken and pork and vegetables plus a pupu player and there was nothing I didn't find perfect.
Absolutely amazing food, quick (whether it's take out, delivery, or sit down. Everyone that works here is so kind and their portions are generous. Hands down, best Chinese food in Manchester.
I'm the guy from Hanover st bldg apartment that occasionally orders the ginger chicken ! I'm giving you a great review because the food, and delivery is great! Keep up the great work and recipes. Thanks !
The food was great and fresh. I hadn't eaten here in a while and will definitely remember for the future. You can taste the freshness vs. some places that reheat.
