Great food and very good service. All of the staff are very efficient at their jobs, especially the workers that prepare the food. They always seem to have a new serving of that food every time the current one runs out.
I used to love Mizumi. They used to have great variety and all the food tasted fresh but the past few times I've eaten there, I felt it has gone downhill. The sushi tasted old and a lot of the choices seems similar. The workers are attentive and refills water/clears the plates off tables efficiently. They wait is still long but tolerable (30 min wait for 9 people on Sunday night).
I went to this restaurant with my family last Sunday. the foods were ok, but service was bad. they try to kick you out as soon as possible. the waiter brought the bill to us not even in one hour. and he can to our table twice and keep saying about their 90 minutes policy. I told him that we came around 5:15Pm (shows on the bill) and he gave us the bill around 6pm. not even 1 hour. it made you not comfortable. won't go there again.
waiter and waitress were pushy, hurry to customers.
They give you 1 1/2 time limit to finish your meal. But they don't replace food right away.
A lot of people had to wait 15-30 min or longer for food! Of course they don't give you time credit for waiting food! They give u check right after 1 hour. And same food all the time. I wouldn't go back to mizumi any more. No fun place to have nice meal. So.pushy, hurry to customers. I'll try new sushi buffet at flushing.I hope this one is good!
Thought i died and went to sushi heaven. This place is beyond fantastic. I had to take laps around the buffet bar which was so big I don't believe I got the chance to try everything but i enjoyed everything i tried literally. I cannot wait to go back here again. Absolutely love this spot.
The best Japanese food buffet!! Great prices, fast pace, good quality food. Dessert is not the best, but who comes to a sushi/seafood buffet for dessert. It is an afterthought and the quality of their main dishes prove that point.
Not very great but it is okay. We went to another Japanese Restaurant last time but that was cheaper and bigger and more choice and you have more time to eat. I saw a girl who was taller than 5 ft but only 11 years old and they took her full price!!! (I don't think you should go there if you kid if quite tall. If you have other choices, don't come here. Also, you have one and a half hour to eat which I think it's too short. Ops, almost forget to say the sushi might not be as good because a saw the rice was shaped in a machine!!!
Best buffet in queens and possibly NYC. Probably the best American style sushi I have ever had. Plenty of choices plenty of room. A tad pricey I guess but it's worth it
I've been a regular but this is the first time I post a review. We came close to closing hour and staff was kind enough to let us know they will stop replenishing food in 15 min and that the restaurant will close in 30 min. We were constantly reminded while we were seated I thought it was very nice of them. Now it's past closing time but they are not making us leave and staff are having their late lunch. I have always loved their food but today I am impressed at their service.
Love this place it's awesome and the foods are delicious! My daughter's graduation day my family went to eat to this place our first time it was recommended one of my daughter's friend's Mom and we really like it! Clean and nice ambiance. We will definitely go back this place again. Good place to eat different type of sushi👍👍
Great selection of hot foods, cold foods, sushi, and desserts, all buffet style. All of the food is high quality, and this is a great place to try something you've never had before. The fish is fresh, and everything is constantly prepared while you are there, right in front of you. Plus this place has a very comfortable atmosphere. This is quickly becoming one of my Go-To spots.
Great food! And awesome ambiance. It's always busy though so it took a while to get a seat.and the service almost felt rushed.
Food is on point. You don't have to wait long for empty items to be replaced by their kitchen staff. The quality of their sushi isn't consistent from bite-to-bite, but then again it's a buffet. I've been going here for years and the food selection hasn't changed - it doesn't change season-to-season like some other buffets in the area. When you go to Mizumi, you know what you're going to get and what you get will be delicious.
This buffer spot is not the best there can be. Some of the food tasted off or not to the caliber that I think it should have been cooked to. Despite this. The all you can eat makes up for it slightly allowing you to have as much as you want. It was extremely crowded on a Saturday but table time limits helped waiting times move quickly. It was an okay experience. There are better places
Have eaten there many times and always come away with a smile. Of the many buffets we know about on Long Island or Queens, this one is by far the best. One criteria we make for Asian buffets is the number of Asians we see. In this case, it always is greater than 90%. The food line has an enormous selection and it is all wonderful. Only quibble is that sometimes they can be slow to refill an item, but otherwise the food and service are wonderful. Highest recommendation.
