I can't say enough about Sylvania Tree Farm. It is the perfect pastoral get away. Sleep to the sound of the creek rushing by, wake up to deer feeding quietly in the glen outside your window, hike well maintained trails on the property, and form a friendship with the owners, John and Jane that will last forever.
We stayed here this past summer and it was truly a memorable experience .
If you like the outdoors but like comfort as well than stf is for you .
The nature is fabulous from the Delaware to the looming mountains , beautiful forest, babbling creek ,elegant deer roaming etc etc .nothing like having a delicious bbq than sitting around a campfire to go into a giant comfy cabin which was very clean .
great service Jane is just lovely very passionate about making sure the guests are enjoying their stay.
And finally it's really not far , yet you feel completely removed .
Cant wait to go back !
Nice camp ground. We like the privacy a lot. The only reason we won't come back here, is, Because of the showers. It's a big hassle having to take 6 quarters every time to take a shower and make sure it doesn't run over 3 minuets as you will have to add additional 6 quarters or the water will stop running. I feel, for $40 per person (way over priced compared to similar camp grounds) They should provide normal showers at no additional cost. That's why we won't come here again.
It was a very nice campsite, the bathrooms were clean and the owners were friendly, I would definitely recommend it.
This was one of the best weekends I've had, I spent the weekend in the brook side cabin with my girlfriend for our anniversary, and this cabin was amazing, beautiful, and perfect in every way we wanted.Great view all around, awesome jacuzzi, resourceful kitchen, great balcony. Altogether a five star cabin and area, not to mention Jane who is just the nicest person you could meet, she was very helpful whenever we needed her and she is just super nice and made the weekend as smooth as possible for us, will definitely go back in the future!
Stayed a week last year with hubby and our tiny humans, our first experience cabining! Jane n her family have ruined it for us. Sitting here on vacation at another place, only because it was five hours closer n hubby dislikes long car rides, n wishing we were back at the tree farm. Jane n her family made us feel so welcome, even let us dig up some ferns to take home! They set the standard too high, n now I'm sad we didn't go back this year.
I camped here with my family. The campsite was right on the river and was nice and peaceful. The family who runs the campground is very nice and accommodating. We would definitely return.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Two Bridges cabin. It was so cozy and such a great get-away. The jacuzzi tub, double-sided fireplace and the in-floor heating were amazing! We went to the grocery store nearby and cooked our own meals for the weekend. Kitchen utensils were available to use which was so handy. We had a problem with the stove not working properly, but we called Jane and she sent someone right over. The scenery was also amazing. Jane was so nice and accommodating. She kept in touch with me via email to send me information about our trip as it got closer, and when we got there she printed out a whole packet of attractions and information for us. There is a ski mountain close by and lots of hiking trails and waterfalls. We went during the winter time, and can't wait to go back again during warmer weather. We definitely recommend staying here!
