  Ive worked in high end sushi restaurants and ive gotta say this place is off the chain good. I have the volcano roll and the fried philly Roll and they were bomb!

  I've always loved coming to sushi nori, but after seeing the wait staff re use water from tables that was it for me. Once a table is finished if the cup looks good they re pour it into the pitcher. I would never blast a restaurant especially a place with such high qualtiy fish but I feel this break of health code violations it deserve someone's attention.

  Hands down the absolute best sushi in San diego. I've never had anything that comes close to this. Highly recommend, specially the lemon roll. Without a doubt my preferred sushi spot.

  Ignore what any of the other "best of" lists say about sushi in North County, especially in Escondido, this place is the best. I have tried many items on their menu and they have all been great. The seafood is fresh and the green tea is a perfect accompaniment. Another option or two on the children's menu would be a welcome addition, but my daughter still loves coming here.

  Love this place! We live in Escondido, and literally go here weekly. It has the most fresh sushi/sashimi in the area, and maybe even in all of San Diego!

  I walked in right when they opened. Feeling like that idiot that can't wait before eating haha. At any rate, I knew they had just opened and we're still in setup. I gestured to manager "I'm no rush, please take your time!" From then on I was treated like royalty. They had given me a complimentary edemame plate, which I understand isnt ground breaking but its the thought that blew me awayhow generous! and after I had paid they gave me one more little surprise treat that was so delicious.
  
  Sushi Nori stole my heart today. Leaving with a smile. Money WELL spent.
