Awesome place! The come-as-you are locals are so friendly. Set and talk to strangers like you have known them forever. The outdoor bar had live music. Blacken grouper was off the chart!! My only regret is it was the last night of our stay before we found this place. I WILL be back. This place is alot better than anything in Orlando. According to this country boy from the foothills of North Carolina.

Nice out of the way place. Literally. You have to work to find it, but that's why it's good. Good food, especially if you crave deep fried goodness. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

A long time favorite of mine! If you are looking for great food and drinks in a backwoods, down home style atmosphere, this is your place. Sit out on the patio and you will get a great view like this and most likely, see a couple little gators looking for some scraps feeding them is frowned on, so make sure you do it discreetly!

Off the beaten path, very relaxing and unique experience. The shrimp, onion rings and beers on the open back deck overlooking the lake were quite good. My friend said she enjoyed her fried oysters as well. I just wish they served raw oysters before 4:00, I hear they are excellent. The staff was polite and attentive and the big parrot made an appearance to top it off. Recommended.

The shrimp and crab bisque in a bread bowl was so amazing that I had to take my family here 2 days in a row! Not to mention, the blackened grouper, shrimp, and gator were all delicious and portions HUGE! The house dressing on the salad is addicting!

I absolutely loved this place! We were directed here from a local, as we are from out of state. She said to us, "Don't be deceived by the outside. It has the best seafood around.". BEST ADVICE EVER. It is not a restaurant any tourist would stumble upon. The blackened grouper was delicious, as was the gator bites and peanut butter pie. Service was great. I absolutely recommend!

Service and food was great. Seated right away. Not a long wait for the food. Was still finishing up appetiser and salad when it arrived.

Well it would have been 5 star but unfortunately, because of the rude, nasty, miserable young hostess, I take away a star. Thank goodness we had charming cheerful waitress, who brightened, what started to be a miserable experience. The food was delicious. 6 of us enjoyed what we ordered and oh those beer battered mushrooms, huge and yummy. A bang for our bucket. I loved the atmosphere. So that being said, we think you need a graceful, smiling hostess, so guest can enjoy this experience from the minute they walk in the door, instead of the way we started our visit. We were there on Wednesday the 28th a little before 1:00

Took the extended family while working in the area. Everyone enjoyed their food. Could have had a choice of salad dressing
My autistic son really enjoyed the server and gave him some rolls to feed the gator.

If we could give a minus star review we would! We arrived 10 minutes before our friends. Tried to be seated, the place was all but empty, they didn't want to seat us. After they finally agreed they told us that we couldn't and wouldn't be served until the rest of our party arrives. We wanted to order a drink NOPE, couldn't even get that! We will NEVER come back here again!
