Love coming here. All you can eat sushi for $20 lunch. Sushi chefs are very attentive. Sushi is always fresh. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT HERE.
Food: I've been here numerous times, always for the all you can eat (AYCE) sushi because it's some of the best around. The ACYE menu has a few appetizers you can choose from, including veggie tempura, miso soup, salads, chicken teriyaki, rice, edamame and a few others I'm sure I'm leaving out. Every roll I've tried (which is the majority) has been fresh and delicious.
My top two favorites that I get every single time I go are the Corona Roll which is wrapped in soy paper instead of seaweed and fresh, raw fish and avocado on top. Number two would be the Rock and Roll, it's got fresh fish, avocado, imitation crab, masago and wrapped in cucumber for a nice crunch.
If you go during the week, definitely check out their happy hour specials.
Setting: It's nice that they added the space next door a while back, it really opened the place up and shortened the seating time dramatically. There is table seating and seating at the bar (you can order ACYE from either spot). Parking can be tough during peak times but there are usually spots in the grocery store lot.
Service: You're always welcomed with a friendly greeting upon walking in! Staff are friendly, fast and if you sit at the bar, it's quite the show.
Pricing: Lunch ACYE is about $21 and dinner is $25, definitely worth the price for the quality and deliciousness.
Great food and great service. Ordering your food and receiving it is fast and efficient. One of the better AYCE Sushi places I've been to. We were not left waiting.
Quality of the fish is topnotch. They do not undermine with smaller cuts or less quality. Everything we sampled tasted great. Especially loved the eel. Freshest and best I've ever tasted. In Corona! Their crispy rice with spicy tuna was a different twist but was amazing as well. Dont miss out on coming here.
Saturday night around 630pm, we had a 15 minute wait for a table. But once inside, we were greeted right away by a friendly staff. We enjoyed the All you can eat sushi @25. per person. Food was fresh and fairly quick. The staff will happily help you with any questions. I will be back.
Best All You Can eat sushi place in Corona. Fresh food, fast service and friendly service. Highly recommend!!
Nothing to complain about, all you can eat sushi, and I also get my fav. Quail egg Shooters and uni, you know it as sea urchin, good quality great customer service
Delicious sushi, excellent service and reasonable pricing.
The sushi restaurant had good sushi not the best I've had but definitely worth the price also they don't have much variety went compared to other places I have been to the menu for the sushi was fairly sparse. Our servers were where nice although I kind of felt that they were hovering a bit too much and I didn't get to enjoy my food since they kept coming up to our table with taking plates away as we took the last piece of sushi from that plate
The Staff was fantastic and even though they were packed we were seated and served within 20 minutes. I highly recommend Sushi Asahi.
Great portions but rice to fish ratio is awesome best lace I've been and I won't go to Orange county anymore to get sushi. This was way better.
I get it. This is not a great locationyet. So they don't want to lose money by serving lunch. So they make up a full day's revenue only serving one meal by jacking up the dinner prices. As it's existing in its present form, this is a WAY overpriced pub.
This place used to be pretty decent. USED TO BE 4/5 in my opinion. Had a good price and the quality is good for the price lets just say that. However, I haven't been here in over a year and just came here recently for the first time in forever. The quality decreased by a lot!! Their unagi sushi is way too salty, the fish does not seem as fresh. The only thing that I thought was nice and fresh was their salmon. The texture of their tuna is mushy. Their tamago is way too sweet. I am utterly disappointed.
We finally found our "Go To" Sushi place. Been to many but Sushi Asahi is big, bright, and friendly. You get attention from everyone who works there and the choices are fresh and taste like heaven. The chefs, waiters, waitresses, bus boy (Tim); and host Daniel were awesome
Great for the price!
Quality of the fish was above expectation for an AYCE joint.
I liked that the chefs did not pack excessive amounts of rice under each piece of fish.
We came around opening for lunch and received speedy service.
Green tea ice cream at the end :0)
