I enjoyed my stay. Very good service and very clean rooms. I will definitely recommend this hotel. Very helpful staff!!!!!!

As a veteran I frequently stay in salem i stayed here about four months ago and was surprised that soon as I came threw the front door the manager remembered me. Very nice feeling 😊 the rooms are clean and if there is an issue it is without question dealt with. I gave a four star because honestly I'd like to see a bigger area for the breakfast which is very filling by the way .

I arrived very late due to a Va Tech football game. The desk clerk was prompt and check in was very smooth and speedy. Room was clean and very quiet. Easy to access from 81. I was surprised at how clean the rooms were. No odors nor was the room outdated. No irons in the rooms. You have to get it from the front desk. But other than that this little hotel was great for the price.

Clean. Nice people. Convenient to restaurants and shopping and family and friends we want to visit. We will stay here again. Handicap equipped room on 1st floor a plus since my husband recently had back surgery and is using a walker or cane.

I arrived very late due to traffic from the 2017 total solar eclipse and they held my room for me despite walk-ins asking for it. The location was easy to find right off of I81. Not much in the immediate area to do but if you need a quick one night stop they are perfect for that. The room was your standard super 8 room. The wifi worked well and I missed the breakfast bsince I slept in because of my late arrival.

This is by far, the cleanest Super 8 I've ever been in! Don't be fooled by "older" establishments, or outdated decor. Even the most "modern up-to-date" resting places can be tainted by poor management and lousy housekeeping. NOT this place! Extremely friendly and courteous staff, amazingly clean room (which the only available room was a smoking room which didn't even smell from smoking) and they have the most incredible firm beds!!! The linens felt and smelled fresh!! Best night of rest I've had on a road trip!!! Free WiFi, coffee and breakfast all a bonus!!! Even the little dining area was super clean! Thank you Super 8!! If ever this way again, I would absolutely stay here!! 2 thumbs up and then some!

We really like Super 8. When we travel to various states, it's what I look for because the price is really good, and they offer conveniences such as microwave, fridge, and breakfast. In most locations the rooms have indoor access, the beds are comfy, and the rooms are clean. This property has all of the characteristics I've mentioned, and the man who checked us in late at night was friendly and prompt. Overall, this is a great place to stay with budget pricing yet with amenities one often will go without in luxury-end hotels.

It was a place to stay the night. Nothing fancy. Could use a little extra cleaning up. Overall room was clean but needed some specific cleaning up. Dresser had some spots showing something had spilled & wasn't cleaned up totally.
