Room was clean and fairly modern. Bathtub/Shower was larger than some BW I've been to. The control was touchy and hard to keep from being freezing cold or scalding hot. Very little in between. Bed was comfortable and the TV was good sized with a decent panel. Heater kept the room warm but was a bit noisey. Breakfast was nice - plenty to choose from. Hot tub was temporarily closed and the indoor pool looked green. Didn't go in. Staff was polite and friendly.

Fantastic hotel. Clean, well-furnished, modern, and well-priced. The housekeeping staff obviously does a great job. We were so glad to find a pet-friendly that was so nice since we were traveling with our kitty. They also don’t have a check-in deadline, which was great since we didn’t get in until 2am because of some unexpected stops.

Very nice, clean place to stay. College town is very close and all amenities are near by. On and off the Highway is a breeze.

I always try to make Radford during my car trips between FL to NJ because I know that I can rely on the BW-Radford Inn for quality, comfort, and value. I like the fact that it is a bit away from the Interstate and near this very nice college town in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They also accept my dog without any issues. I will continue to "make Radford" during future trips.

We stayed there for a while after we had a fire at home Everyone is nice and helpful, also the manager, There's she leads by example you can always see her with her sleeves rolled up and working side by side her employees She is very customer oriented, also Maria one of the house keepers is the nicest most hard working ppl I have ever encountered

The overall appearance of the hotel was extremely satisfying. The lobby area was clean and maintained and you were greeted with a smile and friendly face. Our room was very comfortable to stay in with no complaints. It was a very enjoyable stay and when we return for another visit we will definitely stay there again.

Looks nice on the outside. Nice lobby. Friendly front desk staff. Good water pressure. Soft towels.
Rooms appear surface clean only. Needs a deep cleaning. Housekeeping will not allow you to have extra towels. Someone's leftover food in our refrigerator.
Don't plan to sleep in even if you arrive late. Housekeeping bangs doors over & over & over starting early. Even if you let them know your trying to sleep. They also did not clean out room on day 2. She even chased me into the stairwell to ask if we needed our room cleaned & I said yes that's fine. It was never done. No fresh towels, no garbage emptied, no beds made. I walked past several rooms being cleaned only to witness staff standing on their cell phones. Very little work being done.
Overall I would not go back to this location. It's not terrible. Just not for me. I can get cleaner facility for the same price elsewhere.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the Riverside Inn - a separate, small building - was run down and tired, not fresh and clean. The lawn was not well kept. The carpets seemed stained and there was a large pile of laundry sitting in tbe hallway. While the room did smell musty upon entering, the a/c unit worked well. The sheets were wonderfully soft. The building was quiet and I slept well, but I do not plan to stay there again.

Room was very clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly, very quiet and peaceful atmosphere, not to mention the best rates in this area for a high quality hotel! Only suggestion would be to allow 24 hour access to the pool and hot tub for adults, as some of us have different schedules but would still like to enjoy those amenities.

We chose this hotel on the basis of the outside photo of the property and the inside photo of the pool area. Both pictures show the facilities in a move favorable light then reality, but not uncomfortably so. The pool is lovely, but small. Its interior is slightly careworn, lots of cobwebs and dust and the lighting is insufficient for after dark attendance. The bed was really uncomfortable.

That said, it is an old building with it's own charm that is an opposite of the "sterile" feel of newer hotel rooms. I recommend for a budget conscious family.

I would advise anyone NOT to stay here! Our stay was on April 29th. We were very tired. Upon arrival to our room on first floor, there were hairs in shower stuck to tile and tub. Go to pull sheets back and there was hairs on my pillow case. I don't think this room was cleaned; just straightened. I notified the front desk. Her reply: I will notify housekeeping. I've left two messages with managers voice mail, Theresa Orange, and have yet to receive a call back. The Best Western in Raleigh, North Carolina was wonderful but unfortunately due to this Radford one they've lost my future business.

I checked in at midnight and found a very helpful and professional employee taking care of check-in. The room reserved (king) was not available So they put me in a queen room. The room is fine, clean with a small refrigerator and micro oven. There is plenty of room. They mentioned moving me today but the room is next to the ice and soda machines wich are very noisy. Oh the room smells a little funny, like disinfect. I have a sensitive nose, so maybe it's more me
