I absolutely loved this place!! I took my daughter for her 12th birthday with her cousin sister and 3 year old brother. It was an experience my children would remember forever. We made great memories that day. I plan on returning soon. The horses where perfect for first time riders like my daughters, son and niece. Our guide was excellent!!

Mid October 2017, 3 day 2 night All Inclusive stay. Beautiful majestic horses for all skill levels, lush woodland acreage with dappled shade falling all around us through 6 miles of winding trails, rolling green hills, comfortable weather, accomodating and pleasant staff, delicious and healthy food for every meal, cozy guest rooms, large heated pool, relaxing atmosphere.
I proposed to my new fiancé during dinner out on the back dining patio as the sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow across her sparkling ring as i presented it to her from a kneeled position. The wedding is in 2019.
I think we will visit Southern Cross again on our first anniversary.response / report this review -

Great accommodations. Delicious healthy filling meals with much variety. Loved trying the aquasagge! Helped each soreness after riding. Professional Massage Therapist best but this was good 👍

Have been here dozens of times. Simply put. awesome! Great food. Beautiful grounds. Peaceful. Fun. Great staff. Wonderful trails. Wildlife everywhere. Wonderful horses. Super accomodations. Simply put.awesome!

A truly magical place in 225 acres of beautiful Georgia forest and farmland gorgeous well trained horses happy helpful staff very comfortable rooms I'll be back!

It was my 15 yr old grandson's spring break and we drove down from the Chicago area to the ranch. What an awesome experience. He had ridden only one before and I've ridden all my life. They had beautiful, well-trained horses for both of us so no problem on the trails, trotting and cantering. We could go with or without a guide. Food was very tasty with lots of choices. I always judge the chef by the quality of the coffee, weird, I know but that coffee was great! As were the desserts, salads and main entrees. I loved the saline pool after riding, the bonfires at night and the overall southern hospitality. Since it was foaling season, we saw 5 new foals. Will definitely return.

We had fun riding horses and eating. The food was nice and they let us ride by ourselves due to Fran's experience and that was fun!

Very relaxing. Stayed in the highest level suite in the off season. The help were very courteous and helpful. Food was delicious. We plan to go back in the summer.

We had a fantastic time here. The ranch is so very peaceful. The staff are among the best we have ever had. The accommodations are superb and the inclusive food is great. We were so impressed by how well the horses are treated and how patient the wranglers were with instructing and educating us. It is a wonderful experience we recommend for anyone!
