The first time we stayed here it was decent and worth the fifty five dollars. Going on that time we decided to try it again. The second time it was absolutely disgusting!!!!! The carpet has stains all over, there were no curtains on the windows, my girl got bit four times by something during the night, my experiences points to bed bugs, walls and bed both stained horribly. This was more like a twenty dollar room. We will not come here again and will definitely not be recommending this place!!!!!!!!! Wish I could post pics!!!!!

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! My family and I got two rooms here because I was checking out Western Michigan University but we quickly regretted it. The first floor clearly smelled like cigarette smoke when all the doors after posted no smoking. In one of our rooms, the toilet was leaking and the heater emitted a smell that smells like it was about to burst into flames (after turning it off you had to unplug it to shut off the system entirely). We complained and the only thing they were willing to do was switch us to another room which we accepted, that room was still dirty but just got done being “cleaned” by the cleaning lady. The fridge was very clearly missing it’s freezer (but that’s something so small for our larger issue). Our other room had exposed electrical outlets in the bathroom right near the sink. And smelled just as bad.
Upon check out, we asked another guest how she liked her room. She said her initial room smelled like urine so she asked for a new room. My dad asked her if she was a smoker and she said no, he then followed up with asking if she smelled the cigerette smoke in the hallway and she said that she did. She also agreed that she would never stay in that super 8 ever again.
The waffle maker consistently blew out fuses from what my dad said he saw other guests deal with when they were making waffles.response / report this review -

This was the first time in my life I asked to check out 15 minutes after arriving. My room was not clean: cob webs in corners and ceiling, did not look like a vacuum had been used in weeks, middle blanket had cigarette burns on it, bathroom floor had hair, bathtub disgusting and the smell was on an entirely different level. I wasn't expecting complete luxury at a Super 8 and for the price, but basic cleanliness should not be a difficult expectation to meet. Worst hotel experience ever.

Avoid this place
Rooms are nasty, lights broken, bathroom ceiling leaked, very noisy people selling drugs out front. Pretty sure this is a good place to get bed bugs seriously stay away! Bums sleeping by a cinder block "stove"..response / report this review -

Affordable and friendly staff. Pets allowed and plenty of outside space if they need to be walked. Rooms are fairly clean.

The staff are very crooked there. I was traveling across the state and decided to stay somewhere over night. I checked the prices online but when I came there a guy at the register said the price is twice higher - 100$. I said I'll pay cash than he told me it's going to be 70$, after I told him that online price is 51 he says that room isn't available anymore. I stepped aside and booked it online right away. He begun apologizes and stuff like it was problem with system but I don't need to tell you how it looks like and calls. Try to avoid that place and if you can not check everything thrice.

Very affordable very nice clean rooms. Continental breakfast but they don't really keep up with refills on coffee and some stuff you have to get up early for before it's completely out. Dogs allowed. Free WiFi. Microwave and refrigerator in rooms.

Only good thing about my stay was the room smelled good when I first walked in. 2 buses full of immigrant workers were staying here at the same time. Woke up next morning to find all the breakfast gone and nothing replaced. Lobby was trashed. Staff at counter was too busy on the computer. Came back later that night to find housekeeping never came. Went to lobby to get towels and was told they had none at the moment so had to wait 15 minutes for laundry. Next morning, no breakfast. Said they would refill waffle mix. Returned to lobby for breakfast 10 min later to find it hadn't been done. Decided to have cereal only to find that was empty as well. Lobby trashed again, along with the hallway that had candy wrappers all along it. I will never stay here again. Over priced for what I got.

This place was like a three story trailer park. Doors slamming and people yelling all hours of the night. There must be permanent residents living here, as the local school bus stopped here, daily. Beware!

At Super 8 the price matched the product. Few of the lights in the room worked, and even less of the outlets. The location was also less than ideal, as the outside area was very loud and active late into the night. However, the beds were soft and clean, which is really all I wanted out of a cheap hotel to stay a single night at.

This motel is in great need of maintenance. The tub/shower was stained, the exterior doors didn't work well, the tub faucet dripped constantly, there were places in the room that weren't painted, the bed coverings had holes in them, and the TV wall mount was separating from the wall. The alarm clock wasn't even plugged in. The motel is advertised as non-smoking but the whole place, including inside the room, smelled badly of cigarette smoke. The pillows were lumpy. The internet was bad, also. This was one of the worst motels I've stayed at in my life. I wasn't expecting much as the price was cheap, although I've stayed in cheap Super 8 motels before that were in much better shape. It just needs a lot of work. Having said all that, it did do what I needed it to do on this night, which was to give me a place to sleep.

My experience was terrible, the room was dirty, the bed sheets were nasty and the room had a musty smell. But worst of all, they charged my twice for one night. I checked in Saturday night and paid with a card they took the money out of my account, two days later they charged me again! I don't know how that could be a accident but I am calling the better business bureau. That is unacceptable. No one would should stay here. My experience was reprehensible. I am very upset. They will never get my business again. The manager was sorry and my bank said the issue should be fixed tomorrow but there is no excuse for taking my hard earned money.
