We are on the water site 6. The bay that these sites sit on is gone. At low tide it is a mud flat at high tide its beautiful but very shallow. The sites are not all the same size nor are they all in a row.++ Restaurant will be open soon. Bathroom are clean and stocked. Clubhouse is cozy. Easy bike ride to town. Not a kids place bored

Tight spaces but very well maintained. Staff is great, helpful. Had issues with low power and the electrician came right away. They go the extra mile to help you get in and settled. Very knowledgeable about the local area and attractions.

If I could give this Park a ZERO I would. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!This RV park has terrible customer service. We had booked a stay here for one night on a cross country road trip. We encountered a problem with our vehicle and were unable to make our reservation there. We called in and explained the situation and they were unwilling to refund us our site fee. The woman on the phone was rude and only cared about her profit. It seems like if you are traveling to RV parks they would understand if your vehicle breaks down and you can not physically make it to their location they would have an emergency refund policy. NOPE, she made it clear that she is loosing money and didn't care that we are now stuck having to pay for this reservation and hotel stay why we have our vehicle repaired. She also stated your lucky I am not also charging you a cancellation FEE to top it off. ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!! Not only would I be paying the site fee but also a cancellation FEE?! How can they even justify that? ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THEIR PROFIT!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Location, location, locationloved being able to bike to downtown. Very bike friendly place. People are so curteous. Very helpful at the office. I was delayed checking in and they let me choose between two spots, which made it easier since it was dark by the time I arrived. I will be back.

This place is right on the salt marsh of Cedar Key. It is a great place for beautiful views of the sun setting. It's a small campground that is a bit crowded. The sites are small. The roads and sites are all black dirt. The staff are nice and helpful. I camped there after the hurricane. So, they had a lot of things that had to be fixed. They had put in all new electric in the sites close to the water. The bathrooms were messed up so, they opened a hotel room for the bathroom to be used. It's a nice place to site at your site and watch the sun set over the salt marsh.

Sites are so close together you can't even set outside, very expensive for a poorly designed park
Sewer hook up layed horizontally on the ground , not usable , will not be back here.

This is a cute little RV park that always seems to be full. Most of the guests are northeners who are here for part of the winter. We are staying for a month and going to different Florida areas on day trips. We are about a mile from the center of cedar key, so we walk or bicycle to town pretty much every day to eat and browse. And our two dogs like this park also because they get to walk around with us to meet lots of other 4 and 2 legged friends

We are on the beach, people are kind and friendly. Lot is level with easy hookups. Roaring fire going and the playoff game in the club house. Perfect place. Oh, did I mention the sunset over the water?
    Highly recommended

SoI'm not an RVer and can't review the place from that standpoint. Also please note when we visited, they were still recovering from a hurricane. We stayed in one of the four motel rooms at Sunset Isle, visiting friends who were there with a camper. The room was decent, clean, pretty spare on amenities (no fridge, coffee maker, etc.) but it did have a nice enough bed, clean sheets and covers, clean towels in the bathroom, etc. Shower worked the way we probably should have expected at an RV park - very inconsistent hot water available leading to alternate scalding and freezing. Probably would be good for staff to tell guests about that when they check in. Super nice restaurant on the property. Campground was clean and well organized with some nice scenery . Staff was friendly and helpful.
