I've only been to a few bicycle shops, but this is by far the best. I've come by when I had trouble with my front derailleur and it was adjusted in a minute at no cost.

I've also had the same bike serviced there, I believe with the silver package or similar. Not only was the bike like new afterwards, they noticed a bent rear derailleur and improperly mounted front bracket. All issues were taken care of at a reasonable price.

They are very transparent about what needs to be done and the cost before signing off. Additionally, all the employees are active in biking and are able to provide first hand advice about what to buy if you aren't certain, while not being pushy.

This is always my first stop if I am looking for bike, outdoor clothing and camping stuff. They have a knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. I have had my bike worked on at their shop on numerous occasions and I have always been satisfied with the results. I have also bought some travel and outdoor clothes here. We our lucky to have this store in our town.

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. An employee upstairs (don't know his name) explained to me the differences between hammocks and even helped me make my own trunk straps! Way cool.. and to top it off he even showed me how to make a marlin spike hitch to make sure my awesome new hammock and I don't fall out of any trees. Thanks dude upstairs, you really made my day :)

I have bought several bikes from this shop and each time I'm impressed by the teamwork among staff that facilitates a smooth and speedy transaction. The staff genuinely care and do a great job of treating you professionally as a customer and respectfully as a friend and fellow cyclist. FOLLOW-UP NOTE: After a week on the new ride, some adjustments were needed and this shop's attention to the bike, and me as a customer, were second to none. These guys are 5+

So far things have not been going so well here. I've had to bring my bike back multiple times to fix the same problems.
I know we all love sunflower and the people here but things have not gone well over an extended period of time and money.
Tubeless issue: went tubeless here and spent the chunk of change to do so. I have not had success with the tubeless despite purchasing new tires from sunflower for the whole "upgrade". Every 2-4 rides a tire goes flat and I'm back in, paying, for the repair. Only on my most recent visit which is the seventh since going tubeless in the last year did I not have to pay but I'm sure I'll be back soon.
Brakes issue: had my brakes bled two months and 13 days ago and had less than 20 hours of ride time. Brakes are in such bad shape they need bled again. This is not how it should be. Despite paying for the brakes to be done, I'll have to pay again plus it's a week wait with my bike in the shop to do so since it's the busy time of year.
It's really become a battle as I try to be loyal to my local bike shop but all the repairs not happening and having to pay my money to fix the same problems over and over again are going to quickly send me elsewhere from now on.
Past issues include a chain crank that was never fixed properly, but paid for, so I gave up on that as well. I took that particular issue elsewhere and haven't had trouble with it since.
Sunflower has a great selection of outdoor gear from frisbees to winter coats, to bikes along with great people but my wallet can't take the expenses and being stuck in a shop while my bike doesn't get the proper repairs anymore. I just want to ride.

I just purchased a new Bike and all its accessories from Sunflower and I was astounded at the level of quality service. The very knowledgable staff helped me tremendously to pick out the correct bike. This was imperative for me as I am not up on all the new designs available. I love my new bike and plan to enjoy it for years and years to come. Thank you Sunflower !! I'll be back for more gear for sure !!!

My wife and I ventured into Sunflower looking for hiking shoes and other outdoor items. We managed to walk throughout the entire store without a single employee asking if we would like any assistance. Upon finding their collection of shoes, we started the process of reviewing the inventory. after about 15 minutes, no sales person asked if we would like some help, despite having three of them about 10 feet away huddled into a gaggle talking and noticing us. After asking the gaggle for assistance, one individual broke away and knew very little about their products.

If you want a store that will make decisions for you after begging for their assistance, go here. If you know what you want, there are better stores in the area that most of the time are cheaper than Sunflower with friendlier customer experience.
